It was an Incredible experience
5/5

yes, this was the once in a life time experience. My self, my girlfriend and the group a 15 days. The day we were hiked for six hours, mostly up hill, to find the gorilla family. Finally, We were within 10/12 feet from the silverback and five other gorillas. Our guides were wonderful, that making sure we were positioned close to them to get excellent pictures. then on second day we asked to our guides, to see a family of gorillas with their babies. Then guides made it and we came upon the gorilla family after four hours of hiking throughout a dense jungle. This family had several mothers with babies (10 or 12). The silverback always positioned himself between us and his family. I suggest that everyone hire a porter. We were hiking in very dense jungle, through rivers, going up and down steep terrain. Girls in team was taking help by a porter, he pulled them up many hills and many times saved them from sliding down terrain. Be prepared with rain gear, gaiters, water, bug spray and one hiking stick( you need your other hand free for your porter to help you up the mountain. Great Alpha Adventures!

A trip beyond your imaginations
5/5

I can highly recommend going with Alpha Adventures, it was a high class experience of safari with a guaranteed excitement. A wonderful guide, 100% service minded, was always making sure you had a really good time. Good communication , really easy to follow the program, no complications at all. We had the luck to see animals beyond our expectations: Lions, elephants, hyenas, crocodiles, hippos, etc. It was both relaxing and exciting.

3 days safari trip to Murchison Falls with Alpha Adventures
5/5

We went on a 3 days safari to Murchison Falls and managed to see all big 5 animals. Most amazing was the early morning game drive in the park where we saw buffalos, lions, elephants, giraffes and even a leopard laying on a branch in the tree beside us. The hotel Paraa Lodge was very luxurious with a swimming pool and a beautiful view over the river Nile, where we also went on a boat trip watching crocodiles and hippopotamuses. On the way back to Kampala we strolled along with Rhinos in the Rhino Sanctuary

All in all we are very satisfied with the trip. Peter from Aplha Adventures was very flexible and professional, both as organizer and guide. Even our children were amazed. I would surely recommend other people to book their safari tour by this company.

Great safari guide and wonderful lodging!
5/5

Great safari guide and wonderful lodging!
My best friend and I went on a 10 day trip- 5 days safari and 5 days in Bwindi Gorillas. Our safari guide , Joseph, was amazing! He was able to spot animals from a distance without even using binoculars and was extremely knowledgeable and kind. The lodging- hotels and tented camps were beautiful and the food was great. We liked our lodge in Bwindi - a lot. The only issue is that its far away (about 8hrs drive from Kampala) from most of the main attractions in Queen Elizabeth -lion'giraffe,elephant,boffalllo ect. However, given that there are many other great places to to visit, I'd probably pick a chimps in Kibale everything else next time. The only small complaint we have is that the gentleman who arranged our tour, Peter after we deposited first payment he took 4 days to let us know where he got the money on his credit card but later we knew he was in Nerthalands. All in all, great trip and would use them again!

Unforgettable trip with Alpha Adventures 6-Day Gorillas And Lions
5/5

Before we started our mission to Uganda we contacted Alpha Adventures to organize us a trip before reporting to our work station and On 8th of June 2013 we had a very good accommodation at Cassia lodge, then on 9th June 2013 we took a trip fully organized and managed by Alpha Adventures. Our trip departed from Kampala through the Equator line and with a lot of sightseeing in the crater region – to Queen Elizabeth National Park and we were accommodated at Mweya Safari Lodge. Even so it was supposed to be the rainy season, we experienced only two times a thunderstorm – and what an experience this was, too. The temperature was always perfect, the plants and trees were in blossom, the grass high. We spotted a number of beautiful birds – thank you, Albert -, and all kinds of mammals, including lions, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, and so many other creatures great and small. In addition, the lodges Albert selected for us were all real beauties and at most of them we were just the three of us, so that we could enjoy the sounds of the night, too.
Albert , our guide and also highly specialized in birdwatching, really took care of everything up to the smallest detail: we were pampered. Right from the first email contacts we got a good feeling of Alpha Adventures and the people working there.
Whenever you plan to visit Uganda, we can highly recommend the services of Alpha Adventures and the admirable knowledge on nature and wildlife which our friend Albert has. We traveled already quite a lot before, but never had we felt as good and learned so much about fauna and flora as we did with Albert and Alpha Adventures.

Our trip to Africa was stunningly perfect in every way!image description
5/5

When planning my trip to Africa it was not easy to chose a tour operator online! I contacted quite a few & was disappointed with their replies (or lack of replies). Then Albert Peter of 'Alpha Adventures' actually wrote to me like I was a real person & suggested I might like to share a trip to trek gorillas that he was planning. My reason for going to Africa was to see the majestic mountain gorillas & finally someone actually listened to ME & was thinking about what I wanted, rather than what trips they already had to offer! So I began to correspond with Albert. The poor man must have shared dozens of emails with me! Albert never, ever made me feel like I was a bother. He answered all of my questions with grace & patience. Then Albert sent me a (marvelous) itinerary for my own personal 19 day trip! By then my daughters had come 'on board' & they could only get two weeks so we had to revise & delete. It was difficult but we relied on Albert's wisdom & he was right all the way. Our 12 day adventure was absolutely perfect - for US! Albert sent us our itinerary, all the information we needed about gorilla groups, Uganda & Kenya , summaries of each trek, each drive, & each (gorgeous) accommodation. We knew what to expect in terms of time, clothing, tipping, customs, etc., each day of our trip. So we decided (after months of Albert's hard work) that yes, we'd do it! It was very difficult to send money to someone you'd only 'seen' on email! So I asked Albert for references & I wrote every single one, including each of the lodges! Glowing reports came back! So I believed that this paragon was a real person & sent off our money. Best thing I ever did! What an amazing trip we had! We were greeted at every airport, every lodge, every trekking point, every restaurant by smiling, helpful, knowledgeable people from 'Alpha Adventures ! We sat down with our guides & went over the trip in detail each step of the way. We were never in doubt about what was happening next! It was all what WE wanted to do, not what some tour was already doing! And the things that were planned for us were marvelous! Yes, we did two gorilla treks which were life changing experiences. We also did a chimp trek which Albert suggested & which I would not have missed! We went on many tiny planes, from tiny air fields, & were escorted there, on time, with all our bookings checked & rechecked ahead of time. Every transfer, every meeting, everything went as 'smooth as silk'! After the gorillas, we went to Kenya. Albert again, chose perfectly, for US. We loved Giraffe Manor. Our safari experience at Kicheche Camp on the Masai Mara was unbelievable! And again, our guides, our hosts, everyone was so kind & welcoming to us. One thing on my 'must do' list was to adopt a baby elephant at the Sheldrick Trust in Nairobi. Albert made it happen, & I know it wasn't easy! We had a private viewing of the orphans! Because of the strict timing, Albert had a long day in Nairobi to plan for us. He managed to give us a final day of animals, & gorgeous restaurants so we could get to see the elephants. I can't say enough at Albert & his staff at 'Alpha Adventures" . He listens. He is meticulous in the details. He knows all the best places to go & all the best guides! He understands our fears & communicates well each step of the way. He cares & he delivers. If we ever go again, Albert's email will be on my fingertips! Our marvelous trip to Africa exceeded all of our expectations! We had the best time of our lives! Thank you Albert Peter & your great staff at 'Alpha Adventures'!
