Professional, trustworthy and incredibly experienced — they made our safari truly unforgettable.
We had an absolutely wonderful 7-day safari with Wada Adventures and Trekking, travelling as a family of three. From the planning stage to the end of the trip, communication was easy and reliable, and everything was well organised. Our itinerary and accommodation worked very well, and we felt the safari offered excellent value for the quality of the experience.
Our guide, William, was exceptional — knowledgeable, patient, completely trustworthy, and clearly well known and respected among other guides. He was excellent at reading animal behaviour and making decisions in the field, and we never felt that we were simply following other vehicles or ticking animals off a list.
The wildlife experience exceeded everything we had hoped for. One unforgettable day in Northern Serengeti, we saw five wildebeest river crossings, including two huge ones. After the fourth crossing, William suggested leaving the river to look for a leopard. We found one at close range, and on our way back to camp we came across the biggest crossing of the day! Throughout the safari we also had fantastic lion sightings, including a successful hunt and kill as well as mating behaviour, and many other memorable encounters.
Safari always involves some luck, and we certainly had plenty of it, but having an experienced guide who knows when to wait, when to move and where to look made a huge difference.
There is a Chinese expression, man zai er gui (满载而归), meaning “to return home with a full load.” By the end of our safari, we joked that we weren’t just returning fully loaded — we were overloaded!
We would happily recommend Wada Adventures and Trekking and would absolutely travel with William again on another safari in Tanzania.

Excellent safari guide
Highly recommend William David as safari guide, we had a fantastic safari trip in Tanzania.

An Unforgettable Safari with an Exceptional Guide
We had an amazing safari experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide William! He is extremely experienced (more than 20 years safari experience), knowledgeable, and professional, and he made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable from start to finish.
Throughout the safari, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife. His knowledge of the animals, their behavior, and the best places to find them was impressive. He always planned our days very well, making sure we had enough time at each location while maximizing our chances of seeing something special.
One of the absolute highlights of our trip was witnessing the wildebeest river crossing. Not every group managed to see a crossing that day, but our guide was incredibly patient and dedicated. He carefully chose the right location and waited for the right moment, eventually putting us in the perfect position to witness this spectacular event. It was an unforgettable experience and really showed how experienced and committed he is.
He was responsible, attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about what he does. We always felt that he was doing everything he could to give us the best possible safari experience.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

20 Years of Experience Make All the Difference
An amazing safari experience! William has 20 years of experience, and his knowledge, instincts, and ability to anticipate animal movements truly set him apart.
On the day we visited the Mara River, only a small group of wildebeest crossed. While many other groups missed it, William sensed it was about to happen and got us there just in time. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely amazing safari experience with William as our guide. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. From the very beginning, we felt we were in very safe and capable hands.
William has an exceptional eye for spotting wildlife — he seems to see animals from impossible distances! Not only does he find them, but he also explains their behaviours in a way that is both insightful and engaging. Every game drive felt exciting and full of surprises.
What really stood out was his personality. He is patient, warm, and has a great sense of humour, which made the long drives even more enjoyable. He listens carefully, adapts to what you’re interested in, and goes the extra mile to make sure you have the best possible experience.
If you’re planning a safari in Tanzania, we couldn’t recommend William more highly. Truly one of the best guides we’ve ever had.

Friendly, enjoyable and laughable guide
We went on a Safari tour will the Wada crew in September last year and it was incredible. From the moment we were picked up, it was a very welcoming and friendly experience. The tour proceed, we seen some amazing scenes and animals, had laughs all the way and return back without issue.
Could recommend a more friendly and good team for your Safari needs.

Best guide for a Tanzania safari trip!
We had an amazing experience with our safari guide William👍👍👍. He was extremely professional, easy-going, and very patient (as we forgot about the bird names all the time 🤣), which made the whole trip relaxed and enjoyable. His knowledge of wildlife and the area was impressive, and he was always happy to answer questions. Highly recommended if you want a well-organized yet flexible safari experience.

William spots animals afar like an eagle, knows every animal we see, and pays attention to details
William is a seasoned and reliable pro safari guide in Tanzania. You can’t go wrong with him.
He has an unreasonably good eyesight, understands how the beasts think and behave, and finds every animal we want to see. He never looks tired or even yawns. I wish I have that energy at work.
He thinks about customer experience all the time. I once noticed him cleaning our dusty car windows during our toilet break, to ensure we get a clear view.
The food he sources is better than London food in terms of food safety, and sometimes also taste. I think my bowel health is better than back in London.
He listens, observes, adapts and plans ahead, e.g. he restocks more bottled water in the car to adapt to our rate of hydration, without us asking.
He is also resourceful and well connected with other guides - this is quite important as information sharing over radio greatly increases the chance of spotting rare animals.

Knowledgable, considerate and very experienced.
