I thoroughly enjoyed my hiking & camping experience with Adventurego Hiking and Safaris! The Mt. Kenya hike was my first hike in a long time, and my first ever camping experience. Micheal was communicative in preparation for the hike (i.e., informing me of what I would need for the hike, and answering the questions that I had); during the hike he would alleviate my anxieties (it was a challenging hike, and I did experience some altitude sickness). Micheal made sure that none of us in the hiking group was left behind "leave no hiker behind". He is knowledgeable about nature and every so often he would share a fun fact about a plant, or an animal - you can tell he relishes the outdoors. Michael is also personable which made the hike all the better! I thoroughly enjoyed my hike, and I am looking forward to my next hike with Adventurego Hiking and Safaris!

From the moment we started, I could feel this was different the scenery, the silence, the connection to nature… it all felt so grounding. It pushed me physically, but also gave me a sense of peace I didn’t know I needed.
And honestly, a big part of that was thanks to ADVENTUREGO Kenya. Everything was so well organized, the team was supportive, and the whole journey felt safe, fun, and intentional.
This wasn’t just a hike.

Upon booking with AdventureGo for the first time, I must admit I had reservations about the simplicity of the process. The idea of making a payment and simply presenting oneself at a designated meeting point seemed almost too straightforward. However, the experience exceeded expectations entirely.

In summary, it was with no surprises, professional, soulful, and memorable.
I was unaware of what to expect, but Michael responded promptly to my message. He requested a brief clarification on the kind of experiences I was looking for (in Kenya).
After that discussion in a reasonable number of days, we had an online meeting, where he presented an itinerary with all the activities, the dates, the locations, and a breakdown of the prices (all based on what I requested and added to it were his recommendations) Everything was discussed prior to the trip in a very professional manner.
The experience in July was beyond a dream come true. I met with him and the other guides, all of which knew what a hiker needs. They were kind, informative, protective, and patient. Two weeks in July were inadequate, and so I decided to join them again in November, but this time for a whole month.
Prior to my experience with Mike and the team, I went to 4 different countries with guides, and nothing compares to what I experienced in Kenya with them. For all these reasons, it is now difficult for me to confidently travel with others for adventures. They raised the bar. So, that’s the only thing you need to watch out for!
