A beautiful experience, well organized, and priced well
5/5

Before the trip we contacted several safari companies, recommended online, by email, and although all seemed very professional I felt Romeo was the most frank and knowledgeable, plus the price was very good. After many emails and a Skype call we were set on a 7 day safari.
We were picked from the Kilimanjaro airport and brought to the Arusha office where we met Romeo in person and it was a pleasure, he was also very patient while we organized a few things in Arusha and explained to us again what will happen during our safari.
On the following day our driver Amos picked us up and we went the Manyara NP. Amos is a super good driver and animal spotter, he also has a good sense of humor and has a very good knowledge of animals, we enjoyed spending the week with him.
All the places we slept in surprised me by how much better they were than I had expected by choosing the medium comfort level.
I will give here very short reviews and tips of the hotels and parks we went to:
Manyara NP: Awesome as a first day, less impressive if you come after the other parks, no big cats, but lots of monkeys, birds and elephants.
Hunting with the Hadzabe bushman people near lake Eyasi: Great experience, beautiful baobab landscape, fun to go by foot.
Datoga blacksmith people: Somewhat interesting but not a highlight at all.
Central Serengeti: Amazing, even though we had occasional rain during our stay. This is the real safari, I wish we could have just gone 7 days to the Serengeti.
Ngorongoro NP: Amazing park as well, small, but has everything. Highly recommended.
Tarangire NP: Has plenty of elephants but not much more. Not recommended when the rain starts, the animals go missing. Should be much better during the proper dry season.
Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge: Beautiful place, good food, ok lunch box, really recommended.
Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge: Our favorite place, glad we stayed there more than one night, beautiful farm, great rooms, great food, good lunchbox.
Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp: Amazing location, very good luxury tents, good dinner, ok breakfast but the worst lunchbox. A few minor issues with electricity and hot water, and also a slight inconvenience when it rains to go from your tent to the dinner/wifi tent.
Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge: Least favorite place, great view of the crater, but not a very pleasant hotel with annoying staff and a basic room. Best lunchbox though.

Some small cons were:
Although the safari car was the same as all the other safari cars there were some issues with the window and door and two flat tires. Gladly Amos handled it extremely well.
Our time at the Ngorongoro NP was too short, from 7am till 1pm, I believe it could have been managed somewhat better, at least maybe eat the lunchbox later. So unfortunately we didn't see the Rhino.
The lunchbox on the first day we payed extra to the company and it was not good, and too expensive for what it was, better would have been to take it from the Arusha hotel.

All in all I highly recommend Safari Multiways and would not hesitate to go with them again.

My excellent second time with Safari Multiways
5/5

After my first travel in Tanzania in February 2018 (see my review at the following link https://www.safaribookings.com/or29768), l went again there, last August and I chose again Safari Multiways to arrange a one-week photo safari for 2 people.
Talking to Romeo, the owner, was always nice and pleasant, and a few emails were enough to define a tailor-made travel plan at a reasonable price.

The itinerary was as follows:

2 days in northern Serengeti National Park and overnight in Serengeti Heritage Mara Migration Camp (camp that I love for its very good services and friendly staff).

2 days in the northern Serengeti N.P., Lobo area, and overnight in Lobo Wildlife Lodge (high standard lodge).

1 day at the lake Natron to see the lesser flamingos and to do a short trekking (30 minutes) arriving to Engaresaro waterfalls. Overnight in Gyraffe Masai ecolodge (small lodge and campiste with basic services).

2 days in the Tarangire N.P. and overnight in Fanaka Hotel (1 night) and Tarangire Simba Lodge (just outside the park, with very very high standard services!!!).

After our arrival in Tanzania everything was good and I enjoyed a lot, even though some little inconveniences happened (change of departure time of the flight from Arusha to Kogatende airstrip, troubles at land cruiser's rear tank , the Lobo Lodge modified our reservation without preventively warning the tour operator); however we solved all them also thanks to Omari, our driver.
Omari is a friendly guy, attentive driver, respectful of the rules of the parks and very good in spotting the animals in the savannah.

Therefore, I can only say thanks to Omari, Romeo and to all his staff for their excellent job in arrangement our safari and I hope that we meet again in the future.

Spectacular
5/5

We contacted Romeo over a year before our actual safari date and even though it was initial enquires he was always very prompt with his response to our questions. We told him where we would like to visit but as it was our first safari we were open to suggestions and the itinerary he put together for us we think enabled us to have the best experience on our 6 nights 7 days safari. Our driver /guide Amos was amazing, we were in awe at his skill for spotting animals and so knowledgeable. The hours he spent driving us around to give us the best experience was incredible.Every one of the lodges and camp sites chosen by Romeo were good ,especially the Heritage campsites in the Serengeti, one was permanent and the other was temporary for the wielder beast crossing but still of a very high standard. The whole trip was spectacular and I would highly recommend Safari Multiways if you want a safe, reliable company to look after you for your safari.

Amazing safari experience with Safari Multiways
5/5

We booked a 9-day safari and tribal tour in Tanzania with Safari Multiways including visits to the Datoga and Hadzabe tribes, 1 day in Tarangire, 4 days in Serengeti and 1 day in Ngorongoro. Romeo (owner) and Victor were extremely helpful and accommodating during the planning period. They were always very prompt to respond to any of our queries. Safari Multiways provided the transportation (including the airport transfer), accommodation and meals during the safari, and an extremely hard working and enthusiastic guide (Omari). All vehicles provided by Safari Multiways were in perfectly good condition. All accommodations during the safari trip were excellent, specially the luxury tent in Serengeti from where we could hear lions and hyena every night. Our guide/driver Omari was great. He drove us around for almost 12 hours everyday and he made sure that we could see everything that we wanted to see. He even went out his way to track the Wildebeest migration.

We have absolutely no complaint regarding the entire tour starting from the preparatory stage till the airport drop off. I would highly recommend this agency to others who are looking for a trip of a lifetime in the wildest of the nature.

Emphatically recommend Safari Multiways
5/5

The short answer is emphatically recommend. Read on for my more verbose description of why. After all, this is your money and your vacation time...For my first safari, I requested quotes and itineraries for a 7 day adventure in late June from over 10 top Trip Advisor recommended safari operators specifying moderate accommodations. I was curious why there was such a wide range in prices considering the plans and lodges they responded with were so similar. Based on the more reasonable end of the price spectrum and glowing online reviews I decided on this one. Romeo was stellar as he took care of all the planning and any time I had a question, of which there were several, he responded to my email by the next day. We also spoke once during the planning phase when I called him on WhatsApp. The parks visited were an incredible experience with a menagerie of animals, the lodges and tents we stayed in I rate as great to outstanding all with great food. Our guide was a phenomenal spotter who was extremely knowledgeable about animal behavior and social structure. Furthermore, he was congenial and we had fun together. He was focused and dedicated to making sure we were comfortable and had the best viewing experience and he went out of his way to do so. We saw multitudes of animals including many predators as well as the big 5. Given the incredible experience we had, I couldn’t understand why some other safari operators justified charging 50% to 90% more. Also, I prefer to deal with a locally owned and managed operator so the financial benefits go to the local economy, not a large corporate office in America or Europe. My safari was perfect and Romeo at Safari Multiways made it happen. I emphatically recommend them.

Outstanding safari with Safari Multiways
5/5

We did a five day safari with Safari Multiways and could not fault it. It was amazing from start to finish. Romeo’s communication was perfect, the organisation could not have been better and our guide - Moses - was amazing! Ask for him! The accommodation was so much better than we expected, as was the food. We saw absolutely everything and didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. The best tour company around!

Excellent Safari Experience, catered to your budget
5/5

We spent 5 days, 4 nights touring the Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater, and Tarangire parks. If you are strapped for time go directly to Ngorogoro because it offers the most bang for your buck, there are animals everywhere and it's a small area to cover compared to Serengeti.
Romeo was easy to work with over email to discuss options in setting up lodging and dates. Piuc our tour guide was a super cool and cheerful guy and very knowledgable about the animals and parks - he was able to bring us to the Big 5 PLUS leopards, cerval cats, and too many exotic birds to remember. Our food was better than expected from Dogo our mild mannered chef. If I had one call out it would be the sleeping arrangement. We thought we would stay on elevated cots like the website pictures, but actually had something more a long the lines of mattress pads. Not a big deal since we went the budget route, but after 4 nights it can be rough on the hips/back. All in all an amazing experience and was flexible enough to be within our price range. Serengeti shall never die!
