Absolutely the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable safari guides!
Although our Safari was arranged by another company, Lawrence with Sherman Explorers was one of our guides for 6 days and he was truly phenomenal. He was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic that he kept us hyped even when we got tired during the long safari days. He also went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and not missing out on any opportunities during the drives. His love of safari is truly addictive! Thank you for an amazing time Lawrence and we will definitely be booking with you in near future!!

Omg! Lawrence was amazing and extremely patient. He is also very knowledgeable.
Lawrence was the driver/ tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable, passionate and patient. He took my group to the Nairobi National park and Lake Nakuru National Park on different days. Both days were amazing. Lawrence will ensure you see all the animals at park no matter what! 😂😂. I honestly cannot wait to book next time when I come to Kenya 🇰🇪

Patient, kind and knowledgeable.
Lawrence was very patient and ensured we tracked the animals. He drove safely to and from Lake Nakuru.
He was very professional and safe at all times. I completely recommend that you can book Lawrence as a group and as a solo traveler. He’s a great tour guide!

Great tour and ride to the airport
Lawerence was a fantastic guide. Knowledgeable, and very helpful. We did a trip around Nairobi National Park and then headed to the airport after a short stop.

Amazing evening safari drive Nairobi National park!
Sherman is great! Really enjoyed the spectacular tour of Nairobi National Park.. we were last vehicle in the park! because Sherman was determined let me see all the animals... he wants to make your journey special! Really loves his job... enthusiastic to show Kenya! Also knowledgeable about Lions and all the wildlife.. Good rates also if you like a private drive.. which is what I had.. I promised would come back to see Ambroselli..

Sincere and Experts
It is hard to put into words just how much Lawrence and William meant to our safari experience.
Over the five days we spent together, Lawrence and William became such a special part of our honeymoon. Their knowledge was extraordinary, not just about the animals, but about Kenya, its culture, its history, and the people who make it such a remarkable place. Every drive felt like a masterclass mixed with an adventure. No question was ever too much, and every answer came with enthusiasm, passion, and often a great story.
What made them truly exceptional was how much they cared. After every activity, they would ask what we enjoyed, what we did not enjoy, and what they could do differently. It never felt like they were simply doing a job, they were genuinely invested in making sure our experience was everything we hoped it would be and more.
Lawrence's background in hospitality shone through in everything he did. He seemed to know what we needed before we even asked and always made sure we were comfortable, happy, and looked after. William's background in photography added so much to the experience as well. His eye for wildlife, timing, and positioning helped us appreciate moments we might otherwise have missed and made every sighting even more special.
The laughter we shared is something we will never forget. Between the stories, the animal impressions, the jokes, and the endless banter, there were moments when we were laughing so hard we could barely speak. They created an atmosphere that was relaxed, fun, and full of joy from the first day to the last.
As honeymooners, we also appreciated something completely unexpected, the wisdom they shared about life and marriage. Some of our favorite conversations happened while driving between sightings, talking about relationships, family, culture, and life experiences. Those conversations meant far more to us than they probably realize.
Whenever we had concerns or worries, they reassured us. Whenever we had hopes for what we wanted to see, they did everything they could to make it happen. Thanks to their determination and expertise, we saw a leopard, lion cubs, and even experienced the excitement of almost witnessing a kill. Every game drive felt tailored to us, and we always felt that our comfort, safety, and enjoyment were their highest priorities.
The stories they shared, about the animals, Kenya's history, local culture, and their own experiences, brought everything to life in a way that guidebooks never could. We leave Kenya with a much deeper understanding and appreciation of this beautiful country because of them.
What is perhaps most remarkable is that after only five days, it feels like we have known them much longer. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. The memories we created together, the knowledge they shared, and the laughter we experienced will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us, and Lawrence and William made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We already miss them and have no doubt that we will stay in touch. If you are lucky enough to have them as your guides, cherish every moment, you are in the very best hands.

We travelled with another company and Lawrence was our guide
Amazing time visiting many reserves in Kenya. Lawrence did a great job finding many sightings, too many to list! Very knowledgeable. We had such fun. We helped another safari group when they were stuck in a dry river bed, an experience in itself! My husband loves birds and raptors, didnt manage the Secretary bird though! He sent us a picture when he was on another tour!
Good accomodation, communication, food, reliable, flexible, always aware of safety, on the whole pretty brilliant. We will return.

safari dream
Lawrence was our guide for a week and we did the whole safari experience!
We saw Massai Mara, Lake Nakuru and also the Amboseli park with lots of close elephants and lions. All hotels were very clean and they made sure we had enough to eat and drink at all times! Bid thank you to Lawrence

an unforgettable experience
We spent a week on safari with Lawrence - an experience we will never forget! We were able to see an incredible number of animals up close and learn a great deal about them. Very friendly and dedicated, I was amazed by the whole experience and I recommend them highly!
I had a pleasure of having journey to masai mara and naivasha and it was just stunning! Our guide Lawrence was very knowledgeable and kind and the safaris were just incredible! Insane amount of animals. It was one of the most memorable trips of my life!
