Dream Vacation
5/5

We booked the 7-Day Tanzania Lodge and Tented Safari through the Safari Bookings website (Mama Savana does offer many more safari options on their website). We were pleased from start to finish. Alex responded to my inquiry promptly and answered all of my many follow up questions quickly and professionally! Upon arrival we were picked up by Harun, who was friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area, but was also understanding that we were very tired from a long flight. Allen was our guide for the rest of the trip and I truly couldn't suggest anyone better. He is extremely attentive and intuitively understands what clients need. He is knowledgeable about the animals, parks, photo taking, and life in general. He is very funny, and most important of all, kind. Many times he offered help or directions to other drivers, which gave us a good impression of him and the company. In addition to this, he has a great eye for the animals, of course, and we saw so many more wonderful landscapes and critters than we could have dreamed. All of our accommodation was wonderful, we especially loved Sangaiwe and the Kati Kati Camp (although we did wish the lodges and camps had some local Tanzanian food!) Allen and Mama Savana made our trip the vacation of a life time, and we couldn't be more happy!

3 weeks cross-country cycling Tanzania
5/5

We did a cross-country cycling trip from Bagamoyo to Kigoma and it was the best experience ever. We were 6 of us and accompanied by a crew of 'Zuri Tours and Safaris' who went out of their way to make it all happen as it was not an easy trip. I have to admit we were not well-trained so physically it was a tough start but our bodies adjusted fairly quickly and we got stronger every day. Surely also because of the excellent care of the Zuri team. Guided by their support, their humor and their being there for us, we made it to the finish line (1200 kms) even a few days early!

The professional team of Zuri had very well prepared for the trip; the cars accompanying us, the camping sites and the camping equipment, the bikes, the stops during cycling, the hotels, the food, the safaris (we saw 4 out of the big 5!), medical care, simply everything. They cooked for us several times per day and I have actually tried to put their cook in my suitcase and bring him home; his food was amazing… The lovely guys were always there to make sure we felt safe, at home and warmly welcomed into their family.

Tanzania itself is stunning and its people are so friendly and warm.

So what else is there than to just do it; book that adventure with Zuri! They will make it a life changing experience for you.

Fantastically efficient from the planning right through to the safari experience, highly recommend!
5/5

After emailing a few other safari operators, Anne at Amazing Memories impressed me with her efficiency and ability to organise a trip suitable within my specified budget for 2 adults & our two teenage boys. On arrival at Nairobi we were met by Anne & Joseph and met our safari driver/guide Daniel. We had the most fantastic week , early mornings, very long journeys sometimes on very bumpy roads but worth it all to see the wildlife in 5 national parks/reserves, Masai Mara being our favourite followed by 1 night at Lake Navaisha (a unique experience not to be missed) All the lodges/tented camps were of a high quality as was the food! Daniel was an excellent driver/guide and ensured we saw the big 5 which we were lucky to see in the first couple of days! We were sad to leave him in Mombasa after our adventures together. I can highly recommend this company, fantastic from the planning stage, booking process and during our trip!

Well organised and wonderful visit to Vic Falls and Hwange National Parc
5/5

Nyati Travel and Tours (especially Terence Mutsvanga) thank you very much for organizing our trip. Me and my wife, we enjoyed our stay at Vic Falls and Somalisa Camp enormously. In particular, in Somalisa the staff was very friendly and helpful. The quality of facilities was excellent. The game drives were wonderful and the guides excellent. The trip fully answered to our expectations.

Amazing Kilimanjaro trekking
5/5

Not only does GideonTanzania Safari organise excellent safari experiences, they will also facilitate trekking on Kilimanjaro, through their connections with Kili Heroes. We cannot fault their service and support: their communications were always quick and the information provided comprehensive, they provided attention to detail. We had an amazing time and an experience we will treasure, but we could not have done it without the team of people who were right behind us. And when one of us had to go down early, they were there with their support all the way. Thank you for a fantastic time!

So wonderful gorilla watching!
5/5

We had a one week trek to see gorillas in Uganda and Congo, and it was really breathtaking! It is a unique experience and everything went really fine thanks to the team.

Our guide (Ceasar) for the week was really friendly and efficient. If we had small requests, he was always trying to fulfil them. Jackie (with whom we booked the tour) was kindly phoning regularly to inquire whether everything was fine. It was like being with two more friends.

Definitively something to try!

Excellent 5-day tour with 2 gorilla tracks (one in Uganda and one in DRC).
5/5

We had a 5-day tour with Katona with 2 gorilla tracks (one in Uganda and one in DRC). Both were amazing and different. Jackie was extremely helpful all the time with fast replies, accommodating all our needs. We felt safe during the trip. The guides (Ceasar and Chibe) were great. We only wish we had an extra day in Goma to climb the volcano.

What an amazing experience in Kenya and Tanzania!!!
5/5

It was a stunner of a trip with Wildebeest Safaris

1) Accommodation - We stayed at 5-6 different accommodations every day (Mara Eden, Mara West, Bush camp etc.) and each and every accommodation was one better than the other.
2) Food - Me and my wife are vegetarian and we were wondering if we will have enough food options. Fortunately, we did ate plate full. Although, the packed food that one takes for lunches can be improved.
3) Tour guide - Both Denise and Mike made our gaming experience absolutely worthy. There knowledge, experience and above all the passion for what they do was visible throughout. We saw all the big fives from just a hand away; like I could pat them if I wanted:).

Overall worth every bit!!

Things to avoid - Masai village trip
Must carry - Binoculars

An experience we will treasure forever!
5/5

Our 7-day, 6-night safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti with Danford (aka “Dannyboy”) as our guide was the most memorable and spectacular experience of our lives. After weeks of thoroughly researching our options for a relatively affordable safari (not camping, but also not high-end luxury), we chose Worldwide Safaris and requested Danford.

Danford was an extraordinary guide! He not only had an uncanny ability to spot wildlife from a distance, but also could knowledgeably answer nearly every question about the animals that we threw at him (and we indeed had many questions). Danford navigated the dirt roads in the parks like a pro and knew his way around the vast landscapes, at times offering help to other less experienced guides. Moreover, he was simply a pleasure to be around and his sense of humor and jovial personality raised our level of enjoyment to new heights. We experienced many long laughs together and had many interesting conversations sharing our cultures with each other. We still keep in touch with him. Do yourself a favor and make a request for Danford to be your guide. You will not be disappointed.

In Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti, we saw lions, prides of lions, lion cubs, leopards, cheetahs, cheetahs eating their kill, giraffe, elephants, baby elephants, rhinos, hippos, wildebeest migrating, zebra, buffalo, and much much more. I’ve attached photos of wildlife that we took while on our trip. Our vehicle had charging ports for our camera batteries, an adjustable open top which was indispensable for wildlife viewing, and was well stocked with bottles of water. Danford also brought along a superb pair of binoculars that we were able to use whenever we desired.

As for making all of the arrangements, Ernest was quick to reply to our messages and willing to work with our many requests to come up with the perfect itinerary and accommodations combination. For example, since we were arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport mid-day after having overnighted at a hotel in Addis Ababa, we figured we would be well-rested enough to make the 2-3 hr drive from the airport to the Tarangire area even though most travelers overnight in Arusha first. Ernest had no problem modifying the itinerary.
We stayed at Sangaiwe Lodge (Tarangire), Tloma Lodge (Ngorongoro), Mbugani (Serengeti for 2 nights), Mbugani Ndutu (Serengeti) and Olea Africana (final night). All were great (I will review them separately).

Again, this was an incredible experience made possible by our guide Danford and Ernest with the logistics. If we go back to Tanzania, we will be using Worldwide Safaris.
