Wonderful introduction to the beauty of Uganda
5/5

I booked the gorilla safari to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda for August 15 to 17. Justus, a wonderful salesperson (!), suggested adding on two days in Queen Elizabeth Park before. Communication was extremely well done. Arrangements were efficient and courteous. I met Justus briefly on the morning of August 13 just to finalize arrangements and then headed off across Uganda with Moses and his assistant Alan. I had a wonderful time with them. They were invariably eager to explain everything I asked about Uganda, nature, culture, language, their families and lives and anything else.

They went out of their way at every turn to make the trip memorable and exciting. I loved every aspect of it. The greatest highlight is of course spending an incredible hour with a family of gorillas. The trek is extremely well organized and the rainforest very beautiful. Another highlight was the amount of wildlife on the Kazinga Channel. That boat ride is well worthwhile.

I really enjoyed the company of Moses and Alan. They are charming, caring and extremely hardworking. Congratulations to all.

A very advisable agency
5/5

We have just returned 3 families, 5 adults and 7 teenagers, and I look back and it seems like a dream. Mr. Otieno is a good professional: the hotels have been wonderful and the drivers have been, in general, very nice. We have seen many parks and finishing in Zanzibar was a great idea.
Of course not everything has been perfect .. but a 16-day trip, in which two countries are visited (with their respective borders) has its setbacks. The agency has responded very well. The quality / price ratio seemed to us the highest of all we are looking for.
If you are reading this review, I advise you to spend more than two nights in each park even if you visit less ... Tarangire and the two Tsavo are dispensable. Nakuro, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Amboseli are essential, although the natives advise to visit the private reserves because there is less massification of cars inside the park.

Excellent service from "the Safari Source", well chosen and varied accommodations and above all nice
5/5

We had a successful tour of Zimbabwe, excellently organized by the nice and professional ladies at the "Safari Source". They could not have done a better job.
We met friendly people in Zimbabwe, had excellent accommodations with varied food and loved the wildlife in the National Parks.
It was a ride without any negative events, apart from the annoying border crossings. We have always felt comfortable.
So Rosemary and Monika thank you very much!

We asked for a 'holiday of a lifetime' we got it and so much more.
5/5

From the very first telephone conversation with Rob Morley at Tailormade Africa he understood who we were and what we wanted. We were tourists but did not want a tourist holiday. We wanted to see the 'real africa' and meet and get to know its people. Rob's understanding and personal touch ensured we did this. With his expert knowledge and attention to detail our trip was flawless. From the trek and spine tingling encounter with the mountain gorillas in Uganda through the awesome spectacle that is the Masai Mara to the beauty of the Manta Resort on Pemba Island where it shows what can be done to enhance this world and not destroy it. The lodges and resorts Rob chose were small, intimate and just perfect and the local people we met were fantastic. Their warmth, lust for life and smiles are infectious.
We now consider Rob a friend and have no hesitation in recommending Rob and Tailormade Africa to friends and family.
And yes we really do think we saw the 'real africa'

tour operator very attentive to details and customer care
5/5

Safari is a life experience and as such requires adequate planning. Ker & Downey Africa organized the trip optimally. He set the trip to my needs allowing me to admire fantastic places in total safety and relaxation. The tents in which I stayed have exceeded expectations. A special thanks to Rene Gliddon (adventurist) who, with her professionalism, made this possible.

Amazing service, amazing guide, amazing experience !
5/5

Amongst the numerous options available for a safari tour we picked Seven By Far a bit randomly and essentially based on the 6 days itinerary they offer which was perfect for our schedule.
I have to say it was a great pick !
The communication before our trip has been excellent. The money deposit system can be a bit frightening but the emails and calls we had with Seven By Far confirmed we could 100% trust their service.

The safari itself has been a dream, our driver Daneson was amazing and we really appreciated his great knowledge of the parks and the animals.
Our car was brand new and we enjoyed the good confort of this SUV.
The 6 days itinerary allowed us to enjoy three parks - Masai Mara, Amboseli and Lake Nakuru. We got the chance to see many animal species (almost all of them !). We also really liked the accommodation Seven by Far booked for us in each parks.

It was our first safari but the experience has been so amazing we already want to come back.
I've already gave Seven by Far contacts to friends and family who intend to plan a similar trip.

Perfectly well arranged trip, knowledgable guides and good equipment and camping sites.
5/5

All within expectations. Were picked up on time. Equipment was all working and no unexpected interruptions of the safari.
Plenty of game. A lot of time was allowed for admiring the game. At the end of the trip, truck was there to pick us up.

Very exotic safari with a incredible guide
5/5

If you want to learn anything about Kenya wildlife you just have to get Karanja and his green car. Its the best way! Amazing journey that started in Nairobi, then to Lake Nakuru where we have seen a real chase. Karanja (safari guide) is always looking for this moments and the peacefull ones.
Masai Mara was the REAL safari, and doing our first safari of life here with Karanja was really amazing and believe me, National Geographic is wonderfull but this is awsome.
First you decide what you want to see and for how long and Karanja look for it. We have seen cheetah, leopard, elephants, buffalos, lion, lioness, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, crocodiles, bushbuck, gazelles...
Karanja took us to a places where nobodys was and we've seen dozens of elephants, lionesses, and beautifuls and rares antelops in a absolute silence. And that part was perfect to us because so much people and so much cars around you is a litle bit annoying (second week of July is very crowdy because of the wildbeests imigration, but - for us - is the best time to do safaris: all the animals are starving and ready to kill to eat).
Karanja is a very good professional safari guide because he respect all the nature and the animals around you. You feel that you are in a sanctuary very well protected and you feel that all animals matters, not only the big 5.
It was a dream and a privilege to be in Kenya with Features Africa Journeys and we certainly come back soon to see others nationals parks with this amazing tour operator.

Fantastic Safari, rare sightings and knowledgeable guide
5/5

Extremely Wild Safaris are first class in all aspects. We had 2 days, 1 night in the Okavango and in this time our Guide, Isa Jackson, with his in depth knowledge of the land scape and animal patterns found us 2 leopards, 2 lions, hunting wild dogs, a serval cat, banded mongoose as well as all the usual elephants, hippos, hyenas, giraffes, zebras etc.

He has the most in depth knowledge of every animal, their movements and behaviours as well as the landscape. We felt completely safe camping in the wilderness with his guidance.

A wonderful feast including game meat was provided for us to eat under the stars.

This is our second tour with Extremely Wild Safaris with Isa as our guide and we will continue to use their services on our trips to Africa.

If you’re looking for knowledge and service then Extremely Wild Safaris will cater for you!

Cannot recommend highly enough!

Thank you Isa!
