Perfect safari and Tanzania experience
5/5

I recently did a one week safari with Lights on Africa and it exceeded my expectations by far. I am not quite sure how other safari companies work, but I feel as though I hit the jackpot with this one. The safari itself was breathtaking in the Serengeti and the Ngorogoro crater and I was so happy to see all big 5 among so many other animals. I also got to see and learn about the culture and history of Tanzania more than I thought I would. Visiting a Masai village and meeting with local tribesmen and warriors was a highlight. The biggest surprise though was when we visited an orphanage and my guide Laizer already had a box full of school supplies and toys to give to the children on my behalf. I couldn't believe it and it was the most touching thing I could have ever experienced and I will never forget it. Laizer really gave it a personal touch from start to finish and I really appreciated it and enjoyed the whole thing. Highly recommended!

Amazing! Fabulous! Wonderful in every way
5/5

Safari with family (including Mother-in-law and 2 teenage girls) was everything we hoped for and more! Saw the big 5 in first 2 days of our 4 day Masaai Mara, Nakuru, and Naivasha trip - guide Zack was amazing at finding the animals, excellent driver, and very knowledgeable too. Accomodations and meals were just as described - no unpleasant surprises. Tom (manager) was great making changes to our arrival date and met us at the airport. We always felt safe and well cared for which made it easy to enjoy the wonderful wildlife and African countryside.

Well known for the Noah's Arch project, the wildlife in this reserve was replenished with all the wildlife that could be found in this area before it was destroyed by hunting and farming

Kruger National Park never disappoints
Overall rating
5/5

The Kruger National Park remains my favorite destination for a self drive african safari. Wildlife vis abundant, ample bird species, plentiful rest camps to take a break and spectacular scenery.

The highlight of our trip was a leopard kill in the lower Sabie area. We passed a fresh kill that was anchored between two branches in a tree. It was obvious that the leopard was regaining strength as it was nowhere to be seen. We decided to leave the sight and took a coffee break at Lower Sabie Rest camp about 20 min drive north. We were delighted by the leopard feasting on the kill when we returned a hour later.
