Good Communication & Experience
My sister & I booked a 1-day Bisoke Mountain hike with Empirical tours and Eraste. The communication prior to the tour was excellent and he picked us up from our hotel exactly on time. He drove us to the hike where we were escorted by park rangers. When finished with the hike, he took us to dinner in Musanze and then back to Kigali. It was a long day and Eraste was happy to tell us about his country and the villages and cities we drove through. We had a great time on the hike - the views were stunning. We felt safe the entire time.

A fabulous 5 days!
Communication Davis was excellent. He was very quick to respond at all times and created an ideal itinerary to suit us. Marco, our driver and guide, was superb. He made us no promises. Whenever we asked what we might see, he would smile, shrug and say 'its nature"!. There is a lot of luck in what you might see but Marco knew where the animals liked to hang out and took us to their favourite haunts. He didn't hesitate to put his foot down when he got wind of something exciting and always maneuvered the jeep so that we got a good view. Some of the highlights were having lunch between 3 sleeping male lions about 2m from the jeep, close encounters with elephants, Following a pride of lions and watching cheetahs eat a recent kill. We saw at least 30 different animals (only the rhino eluded us) and numerous colourful birds.
We strongly recommend staying in the park itself for at least one night to get the full experience. We woke up to Zebras eating inches from the tent and we were also pleased that there were only 2 of us in the jeep so that we didn't have to jostle with other people for a view.

Perfect!
From the beginning to the end of the trip everything went very smoothly. Our driver was very competent and was able to both provide a lot of information and answer questions. The experience was fantastic and we even got to see the big five. The ones that could be improved are that the lunch during the day should be stored in a cooler bag.

Everything was perfect

A fantastic experience
Our Maasai Mara your has been a fantastic experience. It was all well organised by Axis and our guide Richard knew the park very well, so he brought us to many secret spots to make the most of the tour.

Exciting!
Exciting and fun Safari adventure with Moloko! She’s knowledgeable, explaining about the wild animals that we saw, patiently looking for animal sightings, a good driver and very accommodating!

The best experience of our lives
From the moment we booked with Suricata, we felt reassured and confident through the efficient and clear communication we received. On arrival, we were met with an onboarding briefing to give us a detailed overview of our trip, showing the professionalism of the company.
Our safari experience itself was the best experience we have ever had. Everything Suricata provided from accommodation, vehicle, and daily meals were 5 star standard. The highlight of the experience had to be our wonderful guide Lewis (Rasta) who was so generous with his knowledge and insights on the animals and Masai Culture. He truly made our experience so much deeper. At the end of the safari we had a debrief on the experience with a team member from Suricata, showing their dedication to giving guests the best possible experience. Could not recommend the company more highly.

wonderful journey
We had such a wonderful journey!
A big thank you to Shanjoy, especially to Rodah and Rio. Rodah helped us arrange the hotels we wanted and was always efficient, genuine, and patient in every conversation. Talking with her felt like chatting with a friend.
Rio was an experienced driver and guide who made us feel completely safe on the road. He knew every route, drove carefully, and gave us peace of mind. He also explained the animals’ behaviors in detail and always managed to find the best spots for us to watch them.
We are very happy with this trip. We’ve fallen in love with safari, and we will definitely choose Shanjoy again in the future.

Amazing safari experience with Miraji
Our safari with Wakanda was absolutely amazing – truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Our guide, M.J (Miraji), was outstanding. He had an impressive amount of knowledge about so many different animals, and he could identify them from far away with ease. He knew the terrain perfectly and even managed to spot lion tracks while driving, which eventually led us to find them!
The combination of breathtaking wildlife, stunning landscapes, and such a professional guide made this trip unforgettable. I highly recommend Wakanda and especially Miraji as a guide – you won’t be disappointed!
