An Unforgettable Masai Mara Safari with Axis Africa Safari!
We had an absolutely amazing game drive in the Masai Mara in late August, and our experience with Axis Africa Safari was exceptional from start to finish. Everything was very well organized, and the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making our safari special.
Most importantly, we were incredibly lucky to have Saddam as our guide. He is simply the best! His knowledge of the Masai Mara, his understanding of animal behavior, and his ability to spot wildlife were outstanding. Thanks to him, we had unforgettable sightings of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and so much more—we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five!
But what truly made the experience special was Saddam himself. He is cheerful, friendly, hardworking, and has such a wonderful personality. His enthusiasm and dedication made every game drive exciting, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about giving us the best possible experience.
We cannot thank Saddam enough for all his hard work and for making our safari such a memorable one. If we return to the Masai Mara in the future, we would absolutely want Saddam to be our guide again for every game drive.

Unforgettable Private Mt. Kenya Trek – Exceptional Service from Start to Finish!
Equatorial Star Adventures is a phenomenal local operator based in Nairobi. I am incredibly glad I chose them for my solo trek! I booked a private 6-day itinerary on Mt. Kenya via the scenic Chogoria-Sirimon route, which included a technical climb attempt of Batian Peak.
From the initial booking inquiries to the final descent, the communication and organization were flawless. Duncan and his entire crew—the lead guide, the support porters, the specialized technical climbing guide, and the camp chef—were amazing. Traveling solo, I felt completely safe, welcomed, and supported every step of the way. It was nice to hear their stories about life on the mountain. Towards the end, I felt like I was with family.
The attention to detail was impressive. The tents were well-maintained, and the food was outstanding—warm, fresh, and highly nourishing after long hours on the trail. The team's genuine passion for the mountain shines through in everything they do.
While I ultimately did not summit Batian Peak this time due to the intense technical demands (a great reminder that I need more specialized training and the altitude is no joke!), the trek up to Point Lenana was breathtaking. The scenery along the Chogoria route is unmatched.
When I return to conquer Batian, Duncan is the only person I will call. I highly recommend Equatorial Star Adventures for anyone looking to explore Mt. Kenya. You will be in the best hands possible!

Safari for the heart
I knew our safari would be magical, however, I wasn’t prepared for the healing, connection, and restoration it brought to my heart and spirit.
We were in a group of 11 traveling through Kenya, Tanzania, and Zanzibar. Everything was seamless - from CampTrek’s help prior to leaving with required paperwork, the countless connections, each hotel was a magnificent experience (AMARI MARA WOW WOW WOW!!), the food and coffee are incredible (you will not go hungry!!), the hot air balloon ride is worth every penny, the animals and scenery leave you in awe, and the best part - meeting such bright, generous, loving people.
I am filled with gratitude and still trying to process and hold tight to how my life has changed. A special thanks to John, Ben, Simon, Augustin, and Margaret for making our trip so beautiful - my heart is overflowing. Africa truly is a feeling!!

Excellent Company and Driver/Guide
The company provided us with a complete 4 day safari tour, a professional team from the office staff who let us stored our luggage’s while at the safari. We had our driver/guide Collins who’s gone beyond our expectations & take pride of his job with many many years of experienced and made us feel safe at all times.we have learned a lot about the Safari in Maasai Mara. And have seen an abundance of animals. We Would recommend this company a thousand times specially our driver/guide who speaks in English, Spanish and Italian. Fantastic Wildlife Experience
We are very satisfied with this 5 day Tanzania safari. I got a chance to see the big five in Tarangire, the vast plains of Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals. Accommodations were clean and comfortable and the food was good. The car was 4x4 and the park fee was all included. The first time was no problem. A great package for those who love wildlife. Thank you to the African Overland team!

Fiona from Inspired Feet is an "Inspired" and extraordinary trip planner, who really made our trip!
I can’t say enough great things about Fiona and her company Inspired Feet. Fiona planned an amazing itinerary for my family. She is extremely organized, answered all questions promptly and helped us navigate through the intricacies of traveling in Africa across country borders. Whenever we ran into something unexpected during our trip, Fiona was always there to help us get back on track.
Her itinerary is very detailed so that we always knew what to expect. Hotels/lodging were were uniformly good to excellent and our guides were incredible, especially Wilson who guided us around the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli.
She is very flexible and is a master at logistics. We were all very impressed by her planning and problem-solving skills. I highly recommend her company to anyone planning a trip to East Africa, especially to people who want to work with a local company with a personal touch and not a big mass market company.

Amazing Honeymoon Experience
We booked with RA Safari for our honeymoon in Tanzania following a recommendation from a colleague. Zeph and Peter were very attentive and helped plan the trip exactly to our specification - starting in Ngorongoro, then Central and Northern Serengeti, and ending in Zanzibar. We opted for luxury accommodation and found that RA Safari were able to offer very competitive prices (often cheaper than what was available on the hotel websites). We had a seamless experience from the moment we were greeted in the airport in Tanzania to the moment we left.
We must give a special mention to our guide Johnson who really made it an unforgettable experience for us. Johnson’s ability to spot a leopard from a mile away and name every possible type of bird is impressive, and it was a joy to spend each day with him on the game drives. He was well-organized and knew every road and secret track in the Serengeti, helping us to find plenty of Big Five action and some rarer sightings such as a sabercat and a bat-eared fox. He was also very patient as we waited 11 hours to catch the Mara river crossing on one of the days!

Review about Tarangire National Park by Julie Ann Tokle
Tarangire was a beautiful and memorable part of our safari. We especially loved the distinctive baobab trees, which gave the landscape such a unique and atmospheric character. The elephant sightings were another highlight, and seeing these magnificent animals surrounded by the beautiful scenery was truly special. It had a wonderful bush atmosphere and felt very different from the other parks we visited.

The Serengeti was absolutely breathtaking and one of the highlights of our Tanzania journey. The sheer scale of the landscape, the incredible wildlife and the beautiful changing light made every drive feel special. We had some amazing wildlife encounters and loved experiencing the vastness of the savannah. Some of the popular sightings were naturally busy with several safari vehicles, but it did not take away from the magic of being there. The Serengeti is simply a place that you have to experience for yourself.
