Camptrek Safaris offer top-class service at very good value!
We chose Camptrek Safaris amongst many others because they are a local, family-run business and gave an immediate response to our many queries. From the moment we arrived we felt confident that we would be safely and expertly looked after throughout our 18 days in Kenya and Tanzania. They offered a varied itinerary customised to our own preferences. The National Parks and wildlife therein need no plaudits - they are truly incredible and each one unique. The lodges, too, were varied but all offered a very high standard of comfort, service and location - well chosen by Camptrek. Both our Kenyan and Tanzanian guides were experienced, dedicated, personable with a great knowledge of animals, birds and the culture of their countries.
This wasn’t just a holiday, it was an experience of a lifetime and we came away better educated, more humble and with a sense of wonderment!
A big “thank you” to all at Camptrek Safaris.

Excellent value for money
Excellent organization, reliable partner throught the whole process. When it comes to the trip itself: lodges worth value for money; we spent five days in Safari, from Ambsolei to Tsavo East and West. We requested a tour guide speaking Spanish. He was engaged and he did his best so we could spot animals such as leopards.
4x4 car was quite new and safe.

Responsive and well-organised
We booked a safari in Botswana through Indigo Safaris. They were responsive, helpful, and provided all the information we needed. The safari itself was run by a local operator called Bushways - they were excellent too. I would highly recommend!

Caring, professional, fun and encouraging.
My friend and I undertook the 6 day Marangu Route with our lead guide Muntari and his incredible team. From the very start, everything was handled with professionalism and care. The support and encouragement that was provided to us throughout the hike was outstanding and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Muntari and his team to anyone interested. Hiking Mount Kilimanjaro is not for the faint hearted, but it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The Marangu route accommodation is in huts and the fantastic Amani was always so caring and ensured that we had a warm drink when walking up in the morning and that we ate enough to fuel our hikes. The food also exceeded our expectations, our chef Shabani did a wonderful job providing us with nutritious and delicious meals. We never went hungry.
We were always briefed daily and had our oxygen concentrations and pulse assessed to ensure that we were fit and well to continue our hike to the summit. Muntari and his team provided an abundance of knowledge when it came to experiencing symptoms of altitude sickness and were always there to reassure and provide us with the positive mindset that is necessary to conquer the summit. The chorus of singing and dancing as we walked in the dark on summit night really lifted our spirits.
A special shout out to the porters! They are the magic behind the scenes who allowed us to complete this challenge by carrying our extra clothes and items from camp to camp. Vincent our assistant guide and Mparee one of our porters were the reason I managed to get to the summit. I couldn’t have done it without them.
A last thanks to Almighty Kilimanjaro, Muntari and his team for a truly life changing experience.

Memorable Experience!
From the moment I was picked up, the logistics were seamless. Transfers were punctual, the vehicle was comfortable and well-maintained, and everything ran exactly as promised. For a multi-day safari in a remote location, that level of smooth coordination makes a huge difference.
The wildlife experience was simply outstanding. I was fortunate enough to spot the Big Five, and not in rushed, crowded moments . Our guide positioned us perfectly for clear, unhurried sightings.
The hospitality throughout the trip stood out as well. The camp staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. Safety was clearly a priority. We always felt secure, well-briefed, and looked after. For anyone traveling from far away, that peace of mind matters.
Masai Mara itself is breathtaking, but the right operator makes or breaks the experience and Sunnycreek Safairs absolutely made it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, wildlife-rich, and genuinely memorable safari.

Excellent safari operator with a superb top class guide. Very good value.
We have just completed a totally fantastic 8-day and 7-night trip, definitely one of a lifetime with so many amazing memories to cherish for years to come. We started in Tangire NP, followed by Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti, Ndutu and Ngorongoro Crater. Our first day seriously exceeded expections as we saw large groups of wildebeast, impala, warthogs, elephant, zebra, elands, grant’s gazelle, giraffe followed by lions with cubs and more. And the birds were also numerous and colourful and our guide was knowledgeable on all the animals. We wondered if we had peaked too early but each day we saw animals in different environments and numbers. The gorge and museum was an extra and very well worth visiting to learn about the origins of hominids and homo sapiens. Serengeti is probably the jewel for vastness and numbers of animals and we added leopards, cheetahs, an enormous number of hippos, crocodiles, dik-dik, and more new birds. Stunning giraffe encounters, includimg during our walking safari. Ndutu stands out as having massive numbers of buffalo and wildebeast, including mothers with calves, and literally many thousands of zebras. Ngorongoro Crater is a very special place and we loved that as the finishing location. Black and white rhino were spotted and a herd of buffalo chasing three lions as we entered the crater was a remarkable sight. We saw two servals which completed our list of things we had hoped to see, and watched one hunting and catching a very large mouse.
The guide makes the trip as much as the animals. Tom ((Tumsifo Ayo) took us to the right spots every day so that we saw about 40 different large animal species, including crocs and ostrich, plus well over 100 birds. He was knowledgeable about all the animals and environments, as well as the landscape. We also learned a lot about local history, habitats, and cultures. We enjoyed his company a lot and spent many dinners learning about his family and life. He also knew so many other guides and was so experienced with 16 years as a guide. More than one guide told us that he was the best! All the accommodation was great but funnily enough the most fun night was at Safari Haven Tented migration camp in Ndutu, which wasn’t the most expensive, certainly had the best atmosphere. Signature Serengeti Luxury Tented camp and Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge were excellent places to stay.
All in all, highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda and our knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining guide Tumsifu.

Jocky Tours Safari.... amazing!!
We just completed a 7 day tour of Masai Mara, Nakuru, Lake Navaisha and Amboseli. Let me begin by telling you how prompt and accommodating Jocky Tours were. From beginning to end, they answered all my questions (and there were alot!) They were accommodating to my requests and logistical arrangements that needed to be made. This is a well organized tour company.
The safari itself was amazing....Kenya will always hold a special place in my heart! The parks were exquisite and we loved all the experiences. We requested upgraded accommodations and these seriously exceeded our expectations The places we stayed were luxurious and the food was amazing.
We were travelling with others who were staying in budget accommodations and we felt a bit guilty every time we were dropped off....once even to a live sax player in the lobby! 🤣🤣🤣
Lastly, a huge shout out to our driver and tour guide Joseph. He told us his his father was a guide and he grew up in the passenger seat with his father. He knew all the back trails and was so knowledgeable about the parks and the animals. He had a wide network of colleagues that he communicated with and we were able to locate the big 5 in the first 2 days. He was able to spot animals so quickly, then maneuver the truck to give us the best view. I think the most exciting was when a mama lion and her 4 cubs jumped out of the bushes and entertained us for 30 minutes!
This was an epic adventure. Trust Jocky tours...they won't let you down!

Amazing Botswana safari!
I've had 2 safaris with Pioneer Safaris, both were incredible. We got to experience the best of Botswana's National Parks, such as Moremi, Khwai, Central Kalahari and Savuti. We stayed in spacious tents, with separate bathroom and shower tents. The staff were incredibly professional, they had everything prepared to the last detail, the food was great, and the game drives were amazing. The main driver and tour guide always went above and beyond to get us to the best sightings, and position us for the best photographic situations. Highly recommended!
