Wonderful experience!
The whole experience was smooth from consulting to actual safari trip. The tour guide Abdul was nice and professional, he is experienced and know where to take us to see all the animals we wanted to see, it was an amazing trip and full of surprises!

We have just enjoyed the holiday of a lifetime! We were on safari for six days and everything was superbly organised and executed by Meijo Safaris. From pick up at Arusha airport, exhilarating game drives for the next six days and finally drop off in time for our return flight, we had the most wonderful time. Our guide Emmanuel was passionate about the wildlife and treated us to an outstanding sequence of sightings with his patience and commitment. He even organised a special birthday treat at a Maasai village for my daughter which we will cherish forever. After spending six eventful days together we were sad to say goodbye to Emmanuel, who felt more like family than a guide! We saw all the big five of Africa and many more. Migration of thousands of Wildebeests across the Mara river, a Cheetah with her cute cubs lounging under a tree, a pride of lions with cubs feasting on a wildebeest, a couple of double horned Rhinos, herds of elephants and buffaloes and even an elusive leopard stretched out on a rockface were the highlights. At the end of the tour I was amazed when Daudi from Meijo handed me some money back which I had somehow overpaid. Honesty is a rare virtue in this day and age. Overall, a most wonderful experience. Thank you Meijo safaris! We would highly recommend Meijo and our outstanding guide Emmanuel!

Excellent safari and cultural experience
We’ve had a tour with Leonard in Aug 2026. It is absolutely amazing. We’ve seen all the animals in our list, including big five, ugly five, the great migration etc. Beyond our expectation, we also see baby lions, baby cheetah, vulture feeding scene. We’ve taken thousands of pictures and videos during the safari time. Leonard knows where to go to find the animals, also all the habits and nature of the animals. Also his driving skills is quite good, which is very important for the safari considering the bumpy road conditions. We’ve got a very good time during the safari, as well as the cultural tour (Masai village, Materuni village, Hadzabi tribe, Datoga tribe, Moshi town etc). Definitely a highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with this tour operator on our recent Kenya and Tanzania safari. From the beginning, they were efficient, professional and easy to communicate with, and everything was well organised. The accommodations selected for us were excellent, with beautiful camps, friendly and welcoming staff, and delicious food.
Our guides were knowledgeable and made the safari experience truly special. We had some incredible wildlife sightings and unforgettable moments throughout the trip. The transfers between the different parks sometimes took a little longer than we had anticipated, but the incredible experiences along the way made it all worthwhile. Overall, we had a wonderful African safari holiday and would recommend this tour operator to anyone looking for a well-organised and memorable safari experience.
