Spectacular safaris with Family Leisure Africa Safaris
An absolutely reliable and experienced tour operator offering unforgettable wilderness adventures. Everything went smoothly right from the booking stage; Geoffrey tailored the safaris specifically to our wishes. It is advisable to book early if you have specific preferences regarding accommodation, as some places were fully booked up to nine months in advance—though, of course, that is not the tour company's fault. Communication was also excellent throughout. Geoffrey was always reachable and ready to help. Paying so much money upfront is always a matter of trust, but everything was perfect. We enjoyed magnificent safaris in four national parks: Masai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo - East, and Taita Hills! Our guide, Chem, was fantastic—highly competent, experienced, and friendly, with a keen eye for wildlife and for the perfect spots to capture romantic moments. Even when there weren't many animals to be seen, the drives through the parks at sunset were an amazing experience in themselves. I don't think it was a coincidence that, at sunset, we always found ourselves in parts of the park where no other tourists were around; he knew exactly the right places to go. Chem ensured we safely reached all the beautiful sights and highlights. Thanks to him, we saw elephants, giraffes, lions, antelope, hippos, monkeys, cheetahs, crocodiles, and much more. He always seemed to know where the best sightings would be. The night safari in Taita Hills National Park was also spectacular; a staff member from the Salt Lick Lodge joined us to help spot the animals. Every activity was conducted safely, reliably, and punctually. An unforgettable experience—highly recommended!

Great experience
We had an awesome time with Mineh and Jocky Tours. Our guide Kikitu seemed to be well connected and we found a lot of great spots before the mass arrived. This way we even saw lions multiple times. Kikitu was reliable and punctual and organized the group very well.

An unforgettable safari experience with an exceptional driver-guide!
Jeremy was an absolutely wonderful driver and guide throughout our four-day safari. His driving skills were outstanding, especially on the challenging terrain of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. He always made us feel safe and comfortable, even in some very difficult conditions.
What impressed us the most was his dedication to finding wildlife. He was constantly looking, listening and positioning the vehicle to give us the best possible views. We were incredibly lucky to see all of the Big Five!
We even had the opportunity to see a pride of lions feeding on their prey on two different days, which was absolutely spectacular and something I will never forget.
Jeremy also went above and beyond on a personal level. It was my birthday during the safari, and he arranged for a birthday cake to be prepared for me at one of the lodges and made sure we could celebrate together. That thoughtful gesture made the experience even more special.
I would also like to highlight Richard from the sales team, who was extremely helpful throughout the entire organization of my trip. There were several changes and adjustments to my flights and itinerary before and during the trip, and he was always willing to help, verify the information and make sure everything was properly arranged. His support gave me a lot of peace of mind, especially with the last-minute flight changes.

Great Safari, many animals
We organized our tour with Mineh per Mail. All questions were answerd really quick. The value of money was fine. Our tourguide Kikitu was great. He has good connections to everybody in the park, so we had the chance to see many animals before everybody else arrived.
I would recommend booking the safari with Jocky Tours.

Denis knowledge was incredible, eyesight for spotting wildlife was superb, was fun and always got us in a great position to see the animals.
This especially occured to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara river.

The service experience is good, and everything is going well.
Boss Oscar is basically online in real time, and there is no delay in communication, which helps me contact each itinerary. Safari driver Festo's rich experience showed me the precious pictures of hunting and so on. Said and Kevin, the climbing guides, helped me climb to the top step by step. Everything went better than expected. I love this trip.

Amazing Safari Experience
It was an amazing experience.
The hotels were good, delicious food and our guide Jeremiah was the best one taking us to best views of all animals (including big 5).
I would like also to thank you Jesca that helped a lot with all information.

A flawlessly fantastic experience!
Somewhere in Africa proved to be the right choice for our once in a life time 8 day tailor made safari trip (Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro). We are a nature enthusiast family of four (kids 8 &10yr) together with two family friends. From the booking experience and Nuhu’s reliably quick proposals and communications to our wonderful driver & guide, Charles, who spent long hours each day driving technical roads (dirt tracks) making good progress across the long distances - always safely and always on the look out for new animals and interesting spots!
The variety of accommodation booked was great and the food very good also.
We finished the trip with a 4 day R&R in Zanzibar with Somewhere in Africa also organised - including the flight booking. All transfers throughout the trip were also organised meaning we had practically no logistics to organise ourselves.
There is little I can find for improvement other than to highlight that large distances are covered each day necessitated by the vastness of the area - but it was never long between passing from one national park to another - or having a refreshment or toilet stop!
Would we recommend Somewhereinafrica? Absolutely - yes.
