Wonderful
We loved our experience in Tanzania with Khalifa. He was a wonderful tour guide and you could tell he had a lot of respect for the animals and their home. He was always able to answer our millions of questions about different animals to current politics or how to cook banana stew. Everywhere we stayed felt like luxury even though this was a mid level safari. Every meal was delicious and plentiful, but would have loved to try more traditional dishes.
Lion King does provide tipping etiquette for guides and accommodation on their website. If you add on additional activities, your tour guide is not the one accompanying you on these activities, so expect to pay additional tips on these days.
I would 100% recommend a safari in Tanzania with Lion King.

We had the most incredible safari experience, can’t recommend highly enough! Our guide Jeff made the experience amazing, he found every animal we were hoping to see, and the lodge where we stayed was great and happily catered to our vegan requests. If you’re looking for a Maasai Mara safari this is the one, and if you get Jeff then you’re in for a treat! 10/10

Great tour with Uwanda Tours and Safaris through Southern Tanzania
We had a great time travelling with Uwanda Tours and Safaris for 12 days through the Game Parks of Southern Tanzania. Our driver Emanul was a safe and excellent driver especially with all the trucks that were on the road and also during our final game drive where it had rained overnight turning all the dirt roads into a wet sloshy mud. The skills of his 4 wheel driving were amazing and allowed us to spend the day in the park.
All the accommodation and staff were excellent along with the meals we had at each place.
We completed all that was in the itinerary and Emanul went out of his way to ensure we got the most out of all our game drives.
All communication with Uwanda Tours was very good with quick responses to our emails.
We highly recommend Uwanda Tours and Safaris.

The accommodation is very clean, and facilities are stunning. Everything about the place is great. Had a wonderful wildlife experience. I will surely come back again!!

A magic and unforgettable experience
Due to the extensive experience of the safari guides and years of organising African safaris, spirit of Kenya ensured our safari was an unforgettable experience. Jorge, our tour organiser was so patient and helpful when answering my 101 questions. His knowledge of suitable game parks and the best accomodation options to suit our needs, made a big difference to our enjoyment of the safari. Also our tour guide James. I can't say enough about him. Due to his years of experience, knowledge of Masai culture and professional attitude and driving skills, he made a world of difference to our experience. Many other safari tourists didn't see half of what we saw, or experienced because of less experienced guides. We met other spirit of Kenya guides also and they all seem good but I'd highly recommend you ask for James if possible, when organising your trip.

Really well curated experience, always looked out for our safety and enjoyment!
The experience with Brilliant was very smooth. Jane helped to curate the itinerary before taking off, going back and forth to accommodate specific lodges, and made sure to personally greet us after arrival. Joshua was our guide and amazing, he made sure we were comfortable and got to see everything we wanted on the safaris. He was very flexible and took us around using his expertise of the parks, very receptive to any requests. Overall incredibly comfortable and easy experience.

Amazing experience
We can absolutly recommend booking and doing the safari with Africa Magic Holidays.
We (my husband and myself) were quiet spontaneous. 3 days after we contacted Lazaro (one of the owners of Afric Magic Holidays), our 7-day safari was organised and ready to start.
Justin, our guide, and Lazaro, our cook for this safari, did a great job. Thanks to them, the safari was an unforgettable experience.
Justin spotted a lot of animals (we saw the big 5!) and interesting actions (hunt of a lion) and got great meals. For breakfast, lunch and dinner: everything was incredibly tasty.
Sitting together for dinner and in the car, we learned a lot about the tansanian culture while talking to Justin and Lazaro (the cook).
The communication with Lazaro, one of the owners (not the cook), was easy and fast. We received answers within few minutes.
We highly recommend this company.
