My husband and I went on a 6-day group safari with Axis Africa, visiting the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli, and we had an amazing experience. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to book a safari in Kenya!
The booking process was very simple from the beginning, with regular communication through WhatsApp, which made everything easy and straightforward.
Our guide, Raymond, was brilliant throughout the trip. He was friendly, knowledgeable and always worked hard to make sure we got the most out of our game drives and had the best opportunities to see the wildlife.
We loved getting to experience three different parks, as each one had something different to offer. We saw so much wildlife along the way, and the scenery throughout the trip was incredible.
Everything ran smoothly over the six days and we really enjoyed the group safari experience. It was such a memorable part of our trip to Kenya and we would highly recommend Axis Africa — and especially Raymond — to anyone considering a safari!

A very kind, experienced and openminded guide with very good knowledge of local nature and culture.
We had an amazing one-week safari with Kennedy as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure we had a great experience. His ability to spot wildlife was impressive, and thanks to him we saw almost every animal we had hoped for while learning a lot about Tanzania’s wildlife and culture.
We also had a lot of fun during the trip. Kennedy has a great sense of humor, was always up for a joke, and made even the longer drives enjoyable.
The safari was very well organized, and we always felt safe and well looked after. We wouldn’t change a thing and would highly recommend this safari to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience in Tanzania.

We cannot recommend Kojuu Safari highly enough. Our safari was the perfect way to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and every detail was thoughtfully planned from start to finish.
A huge thank you to Glory, who organised our entire trip. The itinerary she prepared was exceptionally clear, detailed and easy to follow, giving us complete confidence before we even arrived in Tanzania. She was incredibly responsive to every question and request, always replying promptly and making sure everything was taken care of. She also helped us celebrate our anniversary in such a special way, adding thoughtful touches that made our trip even more memorable.
Our guide, Humphrey, was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of the wildlife, ecosystems and animal behaviour was remarkable. He didn’t just help us spot animals—he explained what they were doing, why they were behaving in certain ways, and shared fascinating facts that made every sighting even more meaningful. His passion for wildlife was evident throughout the trip.
Humphrey also had an incredible instinct for finding animals. He seemed to know exactly where to go and where they would appear, ensuring that we saw everything we had hoped for and much more. Thanks to his expertise, we were fortunate enough to experience so many unforgettable wildlife encounters while always feeling completely safe and well looked after.
From the breathtaking landscapes to the incredible wildlife and the outstanding service, every part of our safari exceeded our expectations. The memories we made will stay with us for a lifetime, and Tanzania has truly captured our hearts.

From the initial enquiry and quotation stage, Kuda was always responsive, making the booking process smooth and easy.
Everything was well organized. We had a short delay for the helicopter ride, but the team handled it well by giving us seats with a great view and allowing us extra time at the helipad to take photos.
Victoria Falls was one of the highlights of our Africa trip. It was absolutely stunning, with rainbows everywhere, a truly unforgettable sight.
Judith, our driver, was punctual, funny, and entertaining. Overall, a reliable and professional team.

We had an amazing safari with our guide Rama who was very professional and friendly. The accommodations were excellent, very good quality even in the middle of the Serengeti! On top of that, we appreciated Lion King’s assistance in helping us to collect our luggage that arrived late at the airport, as the safari had already started.

An Unforgettable Kenya Experience with Tilman Safaris – Highly Recommended!
We spent an incredible few weeks in Kenya in July with Tilman Safaris, and we can wholeheartedly recommend them.
One of the highlights of our trip was our trek up Mount Kenya, which my 17year old son and I did together. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, we were not able to reach the summit. However, what we experienced along the way was incredibly special. Our guide Leonard and his entire team took exceptional care of us and always put our health and safety first. They were incredibly attentive, supportive, and caring throughout the entire trek. We always felt safe and in very good hands.
The team at the office also deserves special praise. Even from a distance, they were able to reorganize our trekking trip quickly and without any complications. Alternative arrangements, such as hotel bookings, were organized on the very same day. Communication was always fast, friendly, and reliable.
Although we unfortunately did not reach our original goal on Mount Kenya, we still look back on the experience with great happiness and gratitude. We were genuinely glad that we chose Tilman Safaris for this adventure.
In addition to Mount Kenya, we also booked a safari through Tsavo East and Tsavo West with Tilman Safaris. Our guide Eric was fantastic. He showed us the incredible wildlife and landscapes, explained so many interesting things, and shared his extensive knowledge with us. Beyond that, we had many personal and enjoyable conversations, which created a very relaxed and trusting atmosphere. It made the safari feel much more personal and special.
We would also like to give a very special thank you to Charles, who took care of the overall organization and made sure that everything ran smoothly. And of course, a huge thank you to Leonard and his entire team for taking such great care of us on Mount Kenya.
Another thing we really appreciated was the flexibility of Tilman Safaris. We were able to arrange several smaller trips and excursions from Diani Beach, sometimes just one day in advance. Everything was handled quickly and without any problems. Communication via WhatsApp worked perfectly throughout our entire trip.
And finally, the value for money is excellent. The prices were more than reasonable considering the quality of the organization, service, guides, and personal attention we received.
All in all, it was awonderful and unforgettable trip through Kenya. We always felt safe, welcome, and very well looked after.
