Samburu National Reserve was a great park to visit. It's a little off the beaten path so we had the scenary and wildlife viewing more to ourselves. I saw a greater variety of wildlife in this park than in any other I visited. The accommodations at Samburu were comfortable, the food in the lodge was very good and overall, from my experience, I would highly recommend it as a place to visit.

I have visited Samburu on more than one occasion. It is scenically outstanding, the wildlife is varied and prolific, the people are very welcoming and the lodges I have frequented are all excellent. This is my favorite safari destination in Kenya.

This Park I remember as one almost at the end of the world , driving there was hard and long but what I have seen and felt brought me a lot of pleasure and happines. Wildlife was great, camp also and offcourse possibility to have a short swimm in this weather in nature was great.

Very nice park, with less tourists than the more famous parks. Big cats are there, though not in large numbers. Zebras and giraffes are differents species than here than in the south/central Kenya.

Very hot when I was there and I loved it! I seem to like desert type places and the arid landscape there was much fun. Many wildlife experiences there too.

Congratulations has to be given to my guide, Steven from Rhino Safari, he was very knowledgable, helpful, accommodating and took care of us. I wanted to see a Leopard and he delivered! He went above and beyond my expectations.

Samburu was, in my opinion, the ultimate all round intimate safari experience. For example staying near the river, the game drives in Buffalo Springs. I preferred Samburu to the Masai Mara as it was more personal towards the animals.

The food was excellent, I actually returned from Safari heavier! The local people cannot do enough for you.

Overall I would highly recommend going to Kenya and in particular Samburu. Africa is a beautiful country with beautiful wildlife and people. I feel very fortunate to have experienced this in my lifetime.

Great diversity of wildlife and ecosystems. Could have spent longer than our 2 days here. So much to see.
