The Machame Route, often called the “Whiskey Route”, is the second most popular and one of the most scenic paths on Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers breathtaking views, rich landscapes, and a rewarding sense of adventure. All climbers sleep in tents (provided and set up by the crew), and meals are served in a dining tent or picnic-style on a blanket outside. Completed over 6 days, this route allows for better acclimatization compared to shorter routes, resulting in a high summit success rate.
