This route offers one of the most beautiful ways to experience Mount Kenya. Starting on the Chogoria side, the trail passes through dramatic valleys, waterfalls, and wide open views around Lake Michaelson. As you descend, the landscape changes from alpine moorland with giant lobelia and senecio to bamboo zones and thick forest on the Sirimon side. It’s a calm, scenic descent that lets you enjoy the mountain at an easy pace while taking in its rich scenery and wildlife.
