Each year, millions of wildebeest surge across the Serengeti in the Great Migration one of Earth’s most dramatic wildlife spectacles. In September, the herds return from Kenya, braving the crocodile-filled Mara River. Our 9-day Tanzania safari travels deep into Northern Serengeti to find these vast herds while exploring Tarangire’s baobab-studded landscapes, the lion-rich Serengeti plains, and Ngorongoro Crater. The journey continues to Lake Natron beneath Ol Doinyo Lengai.
