The Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic and less crowded trails on Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania. Starting on the western side, it offers a remote wilderness experience, diverse landscapes, and excellent acclimatization over 7–8 days. The trail passes through rainforest, moorland, alpine desert, and arctic zones, joining the Machame Route at Shira Plateau before reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895m), making it ideal for both beginners and experienced trekkers.
