We set off at 7:30am from Kigali for the south west of Rwanda for a 5 to 6hrs drive covering about 220kms. We drive via Muhanga, Nyanza, Huye through Namagabe and finally to Nyungwe forest National Park. Our first stop lets us have a cultural visit at the Nyanza Kings Palace in the Nyanza provice showcasing the Rwanda kings palace and all activities but the kings, queens and servants. We have an early lunch in Nyanza town before continuing to Nyungwe forest for teh canopy walk and chimpanzees.
