RESERVATIONS
When making a reservation and payment, please quote the tour number or the client's specialized itinerary, the intended date for arrival and departure, the number of people traveling in the party, sleeping arrangements, and flight details, if known. This will ensure our arrangements run smoothly. Payments can be made by Direct Bank Transfer to our company bank account either in USD, EURO OR KES or Credit Card (Master card, Visa, American Express . Credit card online payment will attract a surcharge of between 2.6-2.9% depending on card.
Payment Policy
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 30 days before the tour program begins. If you book within 25 days of departure, you must pay the full amount at the time of confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
Reservations that are canceled, reduced in length of stay, or reduced in number of occupancies are subject to cancellation and no-show fees. The following is the scale for cancellation charges:
35% if canceled between 60 and 45days before arrival
50% if canceled between 44 and 15 days before arrival.
100% if canceled within 14 days or in the case of a ‘No Show’
• If the client just postpones his/her holiday to a definite future date, so he/she will not incur cancellation charges
• We reserve the right to deduct all expenses incurred from any money paid.
Online payments/ card payments
 All payments by Visa and MasterCard attract a 2.6% handling fee. Please request a secure payment link.

The handling fee is non-refundable.
For cash payments
Please note that only blue USD Bills (issued from 2009 to date) are currently accepted in local banks, not the white bills (mostly from 2006 and before). They should also be clean bills and not torn, and should not have anything written on them.

Transport:
Our safari vehicles are mainly the 4x4 safari Land Cruisers or the minivans, which have a seating capacity of 7 passengers. All our vehicles come with a high-frequency radio for constant communication between our guides while at the park. The mode of transport used will depend on the client's request or the route taken, based on the specifications of the chosen itinerary. Fully trained and experienced English-speaking driver/guides are provided.
Traveler's Insurance:
When booking a safari, clients must buy valid, effective travel insurance. Persons not fit for long trips due to heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy, or mental illness are advised not to participate in rigorous travel programs. Please note that all clients must have a yellow fever certificate upon arrival in most African countries.
Baggage:
All baggage and personal belongings are at the passenger's own risk at all times.
Liability:
While we take great care for the safety and security of luggage, we are not liable for loss or damage to such items. All bookings are accepted on the specific condition that Ramja Safaris Ltd acts only as agents of the passengers in all matters relating to hotel/Lodge accommodations, tours, transport. Etc. Ramja Safaris Ltd shall not be liable for injury, personal illness, loss or damage to a person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from act of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations and discrepancies or changes in hotel services in which Ramja Safaris Ltd has no control. Ramja Safaris Ltd reserves the right to employ sub-contracts to carry out all or part of the services agreed to be supplied. Ramja Safaris Ltd.’s liability to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the respective laws of the country. Ramja Safaris Ltd cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage.
Tour Prices:
Ramja reserves the right to change any of the prices, services or other particulars contained in the itineraries at any time due to unforeseen government-related hikes in taxes or park fees.
Animals Viewing:
When it comes to game viewing, please be advised there are no guarantees. Seeing animals in their natural habitat is a privilege. Take only photographs, leave only footprints.
Passenger Information
We recommend passengers bring only soft-sided bags on safaris.
All the passengers must have an Identification Card/Passport with them for internal flights.
Baggage on internal flights is strictly limited to 15 kg per person (including hand luggage) in soft-sided bags. The airline will charge any excess baggage at check-in.
Passengers arriving to Tanzania will be asked to present a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate.
Update: All travelers arriving in Kenya MUST have an eTA. Visas are no longer available.

Additional Remarks
We may have to reroute the itinerary or arrange similar lodges if none are available.
Park fees may be changed without prior notice. This is beyond our control, and any increase levied will be passed to you.
All KWS Parks are plastic-free zones, and only single-use plastic bottles are allowed
On advancement of a deposit to Ramja Safaris Ltd, the depositor agrees to be bound by the above terms and conditions
