Kilimanjaro Marangu Route. The Marangu route is our recommendation for 5 days climbing experience at Kilimanjaro. This route, known as the “Coca-Cola” route, is the original route established to climb the mount, being the shortest and most direct, and using the same ascent and descent path. Despite being less scenic than others and having a shorter period to acclimatize, camping is not necessary because possibility to sleep in mountain huts along the way, route is the best suited for beginners.
