Tembe Elephant Park, situated in far nothern KwaZulu Natal, is an unparalleled community conservation success story. The Tembe tribe own and manage Tembe Elephant Lodge on their own ancestral land. The reserve is famous for the size of its elephants - this is where you can see some of Africa's biggest - as well as the rest of the Big 5. Tembe Elephant Park Lodge is the only lodge on the reserve, consisting of luxury tents with outdoor showers and communal swimming pool.
