This 5-day Mount Meru trekking starts at the Momella gate (1500m) and ascends up to the summit (4567m) where you will be escorted by an armed ranger. On the way, you will pass through different zones such as montane forests, moorlands as well and alpine deserts. You will also get a chance to see wild animals on the way like zebras, antelopes, white Colobus monkeys, giraffes as well as elephants and buffalos. The views are truly breathtaking.
