Marangu, also known as the Coca-Cola Route, is the most popular path up Kilimanjaro. It is the only route equipped with sleeping huts, which come in handy during the rainy season. You can also enjoy views of the Kibo and Mawenzi volcanoes! Hiking this route is a good option if you are climbing Kilimanjaro for the first time, and we recommend it for beginners and those who appreciate comfortable conditions. The total distance is about 64 km (40 miles).
