The Giraffe Centre in Nairobi is a fantastic place to visit. It started as a rehabilitation project to rescue the Rothschild Giraffe. There were only 120 giraffes left on a ranch in Western Kenya when the Giraffe Center was founded. When you visit, you'll be blown away by the gentle nature and distinct personality traits of each tallest land mammal roaming free. You'll even have a thrilling chance to feed them food pellets (provided by the handlers on-site) by hand.
