The name "Tarangire" is originated from the Tarangire River that crosses the National Park. The Tarangire National Park is located in the northern part of Tanzania and was established during the 1970. It is said to be the home to the largest herds of wild African Elephants in Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is also describes as the Elephant Paradise. Tarangire National Park consists of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, pythons and many other amazing wild animals and Birds, baobab trees.
