Arrive in Rwanda; meet your guide (private) who will have you for the 12 days. Drive to Volcanoes National Park. First, visit the playful endemic golden monkeys on the lower mountain slopes, to help you acclimatize. On your second and third mornings, you’ll wake early and trek into the forest in search of the famous mountain gorillas. After head to Lake Kivu, and after exploring this area, make your way to Nyungwe, then Kigali again, before you head east to Akagera and back to Kigali for exit.
