The Lemosho Route offers a quieter, scenic trek with a great chance of summiting. Starting at Lemosho Gate (2,360m), it takes you through lush rainforests and the stunning Shira Plateau. You’ll join the Machame Route on Day 3, then summit via Uhuru Peak. Descending by the Mweka Trail, the 8-day hike provides extra acclimatization for better success, making it ideal for those new to high-altitude trekking.
