This exciting adventure is open to all not just experienced hikers. The climb to the summit typically takes about 4 hours, while the descent can take 2 hrs or more, depending on your group’s pace. For seasoned hikers, the ascent may take as little as 3 hours. Although considered one of the more manageable hikes, don’t underestimate the challenges: expect muddy trails, thorny underbrush, and plenty of buzzing insects especially during the rainy season. Good fitness makes the trek more enjoyable.
