Explore our 3 days Nyungwe Forest which offers excellent chimpanzee trekking, canopy walk, and lush guided nature trails. Chimp treks start early from Uwinka, Cyamudongo or Kitabi, letting you spend up to one hour with one of the park’s ~500 habituated chimps along scenic forest paths. The 160 m canopy walk, about 70 m above the ground, gives treetop views of monkeys, birds and orchids. Trails like Igishigishigi link treks and canopy.
