Nairobi National Park. The only safari park located near the capital center of Kenya. This Savannah ecosystem comprises different vegetation types, open grass plains with scattered acacia bushes to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse bird life with over 400 species recorded. Man-made dams within the park have added a further habitat, favorable to certain species of birds and other aquatic animals.
