Awash National Park can be visited throughout the year. The best time is perhaps from October to February. These months are less hot and see very little rain. This is also a good time for bird watching as Palearctic migrants stay in the country from November to March. July and August are the wettest months and can be a bit more challenging.

  • After rain, the skies clear of dust
  • Lower rates apply in the low season
  • It rains regularly
  • It can be unbearably hot
