Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). A Makisala representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore Arusha with your guide, including visits to local markets or shops to purchase souvenirs and crafts. All purchases are at your own expense. Rest and prepare for your safari adventure.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After a hearty breakfast around 7:00 a.m., we’ll pick you up from your hotel and embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its vast herds of elephants and striking baobab trees. Upon arrival, we’ll begin our morning game drive, keeping an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Around 1:00 p.m., we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at a picturesque spot within the park, surrounded by wildlife and breathtaking scenery. In the late afternoon, we continue our game drive before heading to Ngedere Lodge & Camp for a relaxing evening, delicious dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, we’ll depart around 7:00 a.m., driving through the rolling Ngorongoro Highlands with breathtaking views. We’ll pause at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to take in one of Africa’s most iconic landscapes. By early afternoon, we arrive at Serengeti National Park and begin our first game drive in Seronera Valley, home to abundant wildlife including lions, elephants, and graceful gazelles.
Tonight, you’ll stay at a mid-range tented camp; comfortable, private, and blending seamlessly into the savannah environment, giving you an authentic safari feel without compromising comfort. Dinner under the stars will be included.

Day 4

We start early, around 6:30 a.m., for a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Today, we dedicate the entire day to exploring the Serengeti’s vast and diverse landscapes, from open plains to scenic kopjes, searching for the Big Five and spotting cheetahs, hyenas, and graceful gazelles. Our guide will take us to the best locations for photography and wildlife observation.

Midday, we enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the park, surrounded by the beauty of the savannah. The afternoon game drive continues, offering breathtaking views and golden-hour light perfect for capturing unforgettable moments. Depending on the season, we may even witness part of the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of nature’s most spectacular wildlife events.

In the evening, we return to our comfortable Serengeti Safari Lodge in the Central Serengeti (Seronera area) for dinner and an overnight stay, perfectly positioned for tomorrow’s journey to Ngorongoro and the Maasai village.

After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti, capturing last glimpses of its unique wildlife. Around midday, we depart for Ngorongoro Highlands. On the way, we’ll visit a genuine Maasai village, where you’ll meet local families, learn about their traditions, and support the community. By late afternoon, we arrive at the camp on the crater rim. Relax, enjoy the sunset over the highlands, and savor dinner.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

We rise early at 6:00 a.m. for an unforgettable descent into Ngorongoro Crater. During our half-day game drive, we’ll witness an incredible variety of wildlife: lions lounging under acacias, hippos in the crater lakes, and perhaps even the rare black rhino. A picnic lunch in the crater gives us a chance to soak in the scenery one last time. In the afternoon, we drive back to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or airport, concluding our private safari adventure.
