Today is dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara in depth. After an early breakfast, you’ll set out with packed lunches for a full-day game drive across the expansive savannah. The Mara is home to the “Big Five” lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino as well as large populations of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. Depending on the season, you may witness parts of the Great Migration. A stop by the Mara River offers the chance to see hippos and crocodiles. Return in the evening to your camp for a warm dinner, relaxation by the bonfire, and overnight.

Day 3

After a morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll depart the Mara for Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake famous for its birdlife and hippo pods. Amboseli is world-famous for its large herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. After breakfast, check out and drive to the Namanga border post, where you’ll complete immigration formalities before entering Tanzania. Your Tanzanian driver-guide will welcome you and transfer you to Arusha, the safari hub of northern Tanzania. On arrival, settle into Venus Premier Hotel (budget hotel) where you can relax, freshen up, and enjoy a leisurely evening preparing for your Tanzanian adventure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
