This Ramsar-listed wetland is famous for hosting the rare, prehistoric-looking shoebill stork alongside other waterbirds like the African jacana, purple heron, and malachite kingfisher. Return to your hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight.

Marvel at hippos, Nile crocodiles, and diverse birdlife lining the riverbanks, culminating in the dramatic view where the Nile squeezes through a narrow 7-meter canyon before plunging 43 meters.

Continue through Kampala toward Entebbe International Airport, where you will arrive in the late afternoon or evening for your departure back home, bringing your 12-day Uganda safari adventure to an end.
