1-Day Amboseli National Park Tour, Meals & Maasai Visit

Depart Nairobi before sunrise, driving through the scenic Athi plains with a stop for breakfast at a local restaurant along the way. Continue towards Amboseli National Park, arriving mid-morning to sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Begin with an optional cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village where you’ll experience their dances, home visits and way of life.

Proceed into the park for a rewarding game drive across Amboseli’s open plains and swamps, home to large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, hyenas and over 400 bird species. Around midday pause for lunch at a picnic site or Ol-Tukai Lodge with Kilimanjaro often forming a dramatic backdrop. Afterwards enjoy another game drive through diverse habitats, capturing iconic photographs of wildlife against Africa’s highest peak

Later in the afternoon exit the park and start journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of Amboseli’s wildlife, landscapes and cultural immersion.
