Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. Explore the park’s rolling landscapes dotted with ancient baobab trees, while spotting elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and predators such as lions and leopards. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy the park’s diverse species, with more than 400 recorded. After a picnic lunch in the park, continue your afternoon game drive before heading to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular crater for a half day game drive. The crater floor hosts an incredible variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, buffalo, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy your picnic lunch near the hippo pool before continuing your exploration. In the afternoon, ascend to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, where the safari concludes in the evening.
