After you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your friendly Makisala guide. You’ll be transferred to your comfortable budget lodge in Arusha, where you can rest after your journey. If you arrive early, there will be time to stretch your legs, explore the town, or visit local markets to buy souvenirs and crafts. All personal expenses during this time are on you. In the evening, enjoy a simple dinner at your hotel and relax, preparing for the exciting safari adventures ahead.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

We’ll start the day with a 7:00 a.m. pick-up from your camp, ready for your first safari adventure. Today, we travel approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park, famous for its huge elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. You’ll explore the park in our open-sided 4x4 vehicle, perfect for photography and wildlife observation. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and, if lucky, lions or leopards. We’ll stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot in the park, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the African savannah. In the afternoon, we continue game drives until sunset, capturing the golden light over the landscape before heading to a nearby budget campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to the Serengeti, stopping briefly at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to admire the breathtaking views from the rim of the crater. If you like, we can visit a Maasai village along the way to learn about their rich culture, traditional customs, and way of life. Arriving in the Serengeti in the late afternoon, we’ll enjoy a short game drive before checking into a camp located in the Central Serengeti, ideally positioned for exploring the park the next day. Dinner is served at the camp, giving you time to relax and share stories of the day’s sights under the African stars.

Day 4

Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Full-Day Serengeti Safari

We’ll wake up early, around 6:30 a.m., to start a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Today, we dedicate the entire day to exploring the Serengeti’s endless plains. Together with your guide, we’ll search for the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino; and spot cheetahs, hyenas, graceful gazelles, and playful warthogs. Our guide will take us to the best locations for photography and wildlife observation, sharing stories and facts about the animals and their behavior. Depending on the season, you might catch a glimpse of the Great Migration, a spectacular natural event when millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains. We’ll pause for a picnic lunch in the heart of the Serengeti, surrounded by nature’s beauty, before continuing the afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set, painting the savannah golden, we return to our camp for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, we drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping at viewpoints to take in the stunning landscape. We’ll check into a private camp in the highlands, located conveniently for early access to the crater, the next day. In the afternoon, we can enjoy a short walk in the area or simply relax while admiring the views. This evening, enjoy dinner at the camp and prepare for tomorrow’s adventure into the crater, knowing you are perfectly positioned to maximize your wildlife experience.

We’ll wake early and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, a rare opportunity to spot a large variety of wildlife in one place. Expect to see elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and, if lucky, the endangered black rhino. We’ll enjoy a picnic breakfast inside the crater, surrounded by its unique landscapes and wildlife. After several hours of exploring, we’ll ascend from the crater and begin our journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your lodge or the airport, carrying unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s breathtaking wildlife and landscapes.
