Scenic Drive from Arusha to Tarangire

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha or from the airport at 8:00 AM and transferred to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive in a park known for its iconic baobab trees, abundant wildlife, and rich birdlife. Tarangire is especially noted for its large elephant population. After the safari, you’ll head to Ngedere Lodges & Camps for dinner and an overnight stay.

In the early morning, depart from the lodge for your final game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts a rich diversity of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hippos, and elephants. Predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and occasionally leopards may also be seen. The crater's lakes attract large flocks of flamingos and other waterbirds. After the game drive, enjoy a packed lunch by the hippo pool before returning to Arusha or transferring to the airport.
