Dar Es Salaam to Nyerere National Park (Sunset Boat Safari)

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or airport in Dar es Salaam.
Travel southward in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle, journeying through local villages and scenic countryside (approx. 4-5 hours).
Upon arrival at your safari lodge near the Rufiji River, settle in and enjoy lunch and some time to relax.
In the late afternoon, embark on a sunset boat safari along the Rufiji River, a magical introduction to Nyerere’s water-based wildlife. Glide past pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, and flocks of colorful birds, while elephants and giraffes often make appearances at the water’s edge.
