Day 1

Morning: After breakfast, you will embark on the scenic drive from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive typically takes around 5-6 hours, offering views of lush landscapes and quaint villages.

Afternoon Game Drive: Upon arrival, check in at Mara Sentrim Camp, a beautiful tented camp nestled within the Mara ecosystem. After a quick refreshment, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive, the perfect way to spot the "Big Five" — lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The Mara is home to a diverse array of wildlife.

Evening: Return to Mara Sentrim for dinner and relax under the stars by the campfire.

Morning: After an early breakfast, check out from the Mara Sentrim Camp and drive towards Lake Elementaita, a beautiful soda lake located in the Great Rift Valley. The drive takes approximately 5-6 hours.

Afternoon Arrival: Upon arrival at Lake Elementaita Sentrim Lodge, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the lake and surrounding scenery. The lodge is situated on the shores of the lake, offering a tranquil environment perfect for unwinding.

Evening: After checking in, enjoy a sundowner while overlooking the lake, known for its flamingo population. You may also spot a variety of birdlife around the area.

Visit to Lake Nakuru: If desired, you can take a half-day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 1.5 hours from the lodge), where you can see thousands of flamingos and rhinos.

Afternoon: Return to Lake Elementaita Sentrim Lodge for a relaxing afternoon with the option to swim or enjoy a spa treatment.

Evening: Sundowners and dinner at the lodge, followed by an evening of stargazing by the lakeside.

Morning Game Drive: Start your day early with a morning game drive, aiming to catch the animals as they are most active in the cool morning hours. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and for offering incredible views of Kilimanjaro from various spots in the park.

Visit to Maasai Village: You may also have the opportunity to visit a Maasai village, where you can learn about the indigenous Maasai culture, their customs, and way of life. This is a fantastic cultural experience.

Afternoon: Enjoy a relaxing lunch back at the lodge, and take the afternoon to rest and enjoy the surroundings. You could also go on another short game drive or relax at the lodge’s facilities.

Evening: As the sun sets behind Mount Kilimanjaro, enjoy your final dinner on the safari.
