3-Day Zanzibar to Mikumi Safari & Hidden Waterfall

Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to the ferry terminal for the boat to Dar es Salaam. From there, you’ll board the modern SGR train in business class for a comfortable ride to Morogoro, saving around 3 hours of travel time.
At Morogoro station, our driver will meet you and continue the journey by road to Mikumi National Park. On arrival, enjoy a hot lunch at the bandas and take some time to rest. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in Mikumi to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Return to the bandas in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Safari & Hidden Chizua Waterfalls adventure

Wake up early for a morning game drive when animals are most active. With your guide, you will look for the “Big Four” and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mikumi at sunrise.

After breakfast, drive to Chizua Waterfalls, a hidden spot. Take a short walk, swim in the natural pool, and have a picnic lunch with great views. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Sunrise Safari & Train/Ferry Return to Zanzibar

We’ll start the day with an early breakfast, then drive to Morogoro, where you'll board the SGR train to Dar es Salaam. From there, you'll continue your journey back to Zanzibar. Once you arrive in Zanzibar, our driver will drop you off at your hotel.
