Transfer to lake Mburo NP & Evening Game Drive

Wake up early, have breakfast, and set off for Lake Mburo National Park in Western Uganda, with a stopover at the equator. This hidden gem is home to impalas, zebras, topis, giraffes, elands, kobs, and a wide variety of bird species. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and relax at the lodge. In the evening, embark on a game drive to spot zebras, impalas, topis, elands, buffaloes, leopards, and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Game drive and Boat trip to the Kazinga Channel

Wake up at 5:30 am for an early breakfast, then set off at 6:00 am for a 3–4 hour morning game drive. Your packed breakfast will be enjoyed in the wild as you listen to birds and soak in the sounds of nature. A popular route is the Kasenyi sector, famous for its lions that prey on the abundant Uganda Kob. If lucky, you may spot a Giant Forest Hog or even an elusive leopard. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a 2-hour boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lakes Edward and George. Guided by Uganda Wildlife Authority experts, you’ll spot hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, and over 100 bird species including African Skimmers, Pelicans, Spoonbills, and Bee-eaters—perfect for stunning close-up photography.

Chimp Trekking in Kyambura Gorge & Visit Lake Katwe

Kyambura Gorge, often called the “Valley of Apes,” is a striking underground tropical forest in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The gorge is about 100 meters deep and 1 km long, forming part of the wider Kyambura Game Reserve. It is characterised by dense rainforest that provides habitat to numerous birds, primates, and mammals, including elephants and hippos. After an early breakfast, drive to Kyambura Gorge for an exciting chimpanzee trekking adventure lasting 2–4 hours. Accompanied by a ranger, you will enter the forest in search of the chimpanzees, and once found, spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. After trekking, enjoy a lunch break before visiting the Katwe Salt Crater Lakes. Here, you will see how local residents mine salt using traditional methods. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable NP

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site and one of the world's richest biological and botanical regions. The forest covers an area of 331 km2 at the southwestern edge of the western Rift Valley. Bwindi’s most-revered species are the approximately 400 wild Mountain Gorillas (2011 census) that makeup half of the world population of these gentle apes.
After your morning breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the home of mountain Gorillas, and have a hot lunch along the way later you will check in at the lodge for dinner relaxation and overnight.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Wake up early for a hearty breakfast in preparation for your Gorilla Tracking adventure. Arrive at the Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger station by 8 AM for registration and a briefing. Your trek, lasting 3–6 hours, requires moderate fitness and sturdy walking boots. Guided by rangers, you will pass village gardens and enter dense jungle, occasionally navigating thick undergrowth with machetes in search of the gorillas. Each gorilla family is closely monitored via radio contact. Once located, leave all belongings aside and approach with only your camera. Maintain a 7-meter distance to protect the gorillas’ health. Spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants—females with young, young males, and the dominant silverback—feeding, playing, or resting.

After the trek, return to the lodge for a restful evening.

Wake early morning after you will have breakfast and proceed for an 9 hours drive back to Entebbe. You will have lunch along the way and continue to the Entebbe International Airport, on arrival at the Airport you will proceed to check in for your out bound international flight.
End of your 8 days Uganda wildlife and primate safari.
