Nairobi Hotel/Airport - Amboseli National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by a professional Marula Horizon Safaris representative. After a short safari briefing, depart by road for Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic countryside views along the way.

Arrive in Amboseli in time for check-in and lunch at your lodge or camp. After some relaxation, head out for an afternoon guided game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds, open plains, and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). You may encounter lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and a variety of birdlife.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Amboseli NP - Early Morning Game Drive, Village Visit & Transfer Tsavo West

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, when wildlife is most active. Enjoy excellent photography opportunities with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background (weather permitting).

Return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by a visit to a traditional Maasai Village for a cultural experience and interaction with the local community.

After the village visit, depart by road to Tsavo West National Park. Upon arrival, proceed for an extended game drive with a packed lunch to be enjoyed inside the park. Explore Tsavo West’s dramatic landscapes, volcanic hills, and wildlife habitats while searching for elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and other species.

Continue with your afternoon game viewing before heading to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park, the best time to witness the park’s wildlife in action. As the sun rises over the vast savannah, enjoy sightings of lions prowling, elephants grazing, herds of zebras and antelopes moving across the plains, and the iconic red elephants that give Tsavo East its fame. Your professional guide will share insights on animal behavior, habitats, and the park’s unique ecosystem, enhancing your safari experience.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out. A packed lunch will be provided to enjoy en route, allowing you to continue your journey without interruption.

Depart by road for Nairobi, taking in the scenic landscapes along the way. You will arrive in the late afternoon for drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Note: For travelers wishing to continue to the coast, drop-off in Diani Beach, Watamu, or Malindi can be arranged at an additional cost.
