Nairobi Hotel/Airport - Amboseli National Park

Your adventure with Marula Horizon Safaris begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, airport, or residence in Nairobi, followed by a scenic 4–5 hour drive through Kenya’s charming countryside. Pass by local markets, small towns, and the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley region as you make your way to Amboseli National Park, world-famous for its majestic elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest mountain.

You'll begin your day with an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM in Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s oldest and one of its largest wildlife sanctuaries. You'll experience the thrill of spotting red elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and, with luck, cheetahs or leopards as the golden sunrise lights up the open plains. The park’s rugged beauty and rich wildlife make for an unforgettable morning.

You'll return to your lodge for breakfast, then visit the scenic Aruba Dam, a popular gathering point for elephants, hippos, and a variety of bird species.
