Your journey with Marula Horizon Safaris begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi. Drive through Kenya’s beautiful countryside en route to Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and sweeping views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After arriving and settling in, enjoy a game drive in the afternoon to spot wildlife such as lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras and rich birdlife. Dinner and overnight at Little Amanya Camp (or similar budget camp, upgrade available on request).

Amboseli - Maasai Village - Tsavo West

After breakfast, explore Amboseli with a morning game drive under soft daylight. Then visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their culture and daily life, observe dances and traditions. Next, depart for Tsavo West National Park, pausing at Mzima Springs—a lush oasis home to hippos, crocodiles and vibrant aquatic life. After lunch at your lodge or camp, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the volcanic landscapes of Tsavo West. Overnight at Man Eaters Camp.

Day 3

Tsavo East - Nairobi

Tsavo East - Nairobi

On day three, leave Tsavo West after breakfast and connect directly to Tsavo East National Park through the park gate. Tsavo East is known for its wide open plains and the famous “red elephants” that dust themselves with the park’s ochre soil. Explore wildlife, visit Aruba Dam, and take in the park’s vast beauty. After lunch, you will continue with your onward journey—either driving back to Nairobi or proceeding to Mombasa for a beach extension. The safari concludes with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
