1-Day Solo Trip to Nairobi NP and Giraffe Center

At 6:00 AM, you will be picked up from your Nairobi residence, hotel, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) / Wilson Airport. After a warm meet-and-greet and a short briefing from your professional driver-guide, you will head to Nairobi National Park, one of the only wildlife parks located within a capital city. Enjoy a 4-hour morning game drive when wildlife is most active. The park is home to a wide variety of animals including lions, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, ostriches, hippos, crocodiles, cheetahs, and more than 400 bird species. You’ll also pass iconic sites such as the Ivory Burning Monument and viewpoints overlooking Nairobi’s skyline. Afterwards, visit the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed endangered Rothschild giraffes, take memorable photos from the raised feeding platform and learn about giraffe conservation efforts. You can also explore the short nature trail within the sanctuary. Later, you will be dropped back at your hotel, residence, or airport.
