Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), which serves domestic flights, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from African Big Cats Safaris. From the airport, you’ll be transferred in comfort to your accommodation in Arusha, allowing you to relax and take in the first sights of Tanzania.
Your overnight stay will be at Kika resort hotel, a charming retreat where the rhythm of nature echoes like the beat of an African drum. Here, life slows down, inviting you to revive your senses in serene surroundings—a perfect introduction to your safari adventure.

Day 2

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem renowned for its rich wildlife. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, often referred to as the “river of warthogs,” which serves as the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season.
Tarangire's terrain is diverse—ranging from open savannah and acacia woodlands to dense elephant grass and lush groundwater forests famous for its large elephant herds, frequently seen gathering near the riverbanks. As we explore the park, keep an eye out for giraffe, bushbuck, hartebeest, and a variety of predators, including lions and leopards, which follow the movement of their prey.
After a picnic lunch and an extensive game drive through this remarkable landscape, we make our way to Kitela Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Nestled in the highlands, Kitela offers the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm, surrounded by coffee plantations and rolling hills.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, we depart for the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. As you approach the Crater’s edge, the view opens up to reveal what looks like a forgotten world—a vast, unbroken caldera teeming with life.
Formed two to three million years ago by the collapse of a massive volcano, the Crater is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a natural sanctuary for an extraordinary variety of wildlife. It boasts one of the densest concentrations of large mammals in Africa, making it a highlight of any safari.
After a packed picnic lunch amidst this dramatic landscape, we continue our journey towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.
Upon arrival, you’ll settle in at the beautiful Kubukubu Luxury Tented Lodge, where a delicious dinner awaits. Your overnight stay here offers the perfect blend of rustic safari charm and modern comfort—right in the heart of the wild.

Day 4

After another early breakfast, we begin our final game drive in the Serengeti at around 6:30 AM, giving us the best chance to witness wildlife at its most active. Today, you'll spend 6 to 7 hours exploring the vast plains of this legendary national park.
The Serengeti is a haven for an extraordinary array of wildlife. You may encounter impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos lounging near the water, but the real stars of the show are the great migrating herds: over 1.5 million wildebeest, 250,000 zebras, and 500,000 antelopes journeying across the plains in a spectacular search for greener pastures. Their path is shaped by the rhythm of the rains, making each year's movement unique.

After an early breakfast, we set off at around 6:30 AM for a final game drive in the iconic Serengeti National Park, spending 6 to 7 hours exploring its vast, wildlife-rich plains. Home to a remarkable variety of animals—including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos—the Serengeti is world-famous for its awe-inspiring Great Migration, where approximately 1.5 million wildebeest, 250,000 zebras, and 500,000 antelopes traverse the land in search of fresh grazing, their movements guided by seasonal rains. As we follow the herds, we may also witness Africa’s top predators—lions, cheetahs, and leopards—in action. Around 2:00 PM, we begin our journey back to Karatu, where you’ll spend the night at the beautiful lake manyara kilima oja Lodge. There, you can enjoy a delicious dinner, relax by the swimming pool, sip a digestif by the fire under the starlit African sky, and retire to your spacious room for a restful night’s sleep.
