Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful reserve nestled at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse landscapes, ranging from lush forests to open savannahs and the shimmering lake itself. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large herds of elephants, and over 400 species of birds, including flamingos that gather along the lakeshore. In the afternoon, continue exploring the park’s unique habitats before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five in a single day, alongside countless zebras, wildebeests, and other wildlife. The crater floor offers a truly unique game-viewing experience against a backdrop of dramatic landscapes. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the crater. In the late afternoon, ascend back to the crater rim and proceed to your lodge for relaxation and dinner. Optional for an extra cost: Maasai cultural visit or luxury lodge upgrade.

The park is particularly famous for its seasonal migration, with thousands of animals drawn to the Tarangire River. Enjoy a morning and early afternoon game drive, taking in the stunning scenery and diverse wildlife encounters. After a picnic lunch in the park, begin your return journey, with drop-off in Arusha or at Kilimanjaro International Airport in the late afternoon.
