Your safari begins in Maun, where your guide will meet you. After a short briefing, you'll depart in a 4x4 safari vehicle for a 92 km drive to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the most diverse ecosystems in Africa.
Upon arrival, settle into camp and experience authentic mobile camping in spacious Meru-style tents (larger than 3x3m), each outfitted with real beds, a private veranda, and an en suite bush bathroom — featuring a canvas sink, bucket shower, and bush toilet. You'll enjoy chef-prepared meals and an unforgettable non-participation mobile camping adventure.
You'll enjoy lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, buffalo, antelope, and predators that call Moremi home. You'll end the evening with a fireside dinner under the stars.

You'll spend the day exploring Moremi’s varied landscapes — from lagoons and floodplains to acacia forests and savannah. This area is renowned for its leopard sightings, large elephant herds, and diverse bird species. You'll enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive, with time in between to relax in camp — unwinding in your Meru-style tent (larger than 3x3m) where rustic charm meets comfort, complete with a real bed, private veranda, and en suite bush bathroom with a canvas sink, bucket shower, and bush toilet. As the sun sets, you'll indulge in chef-prepared candlelit meals under the stars with your expert guide.

Day 3
Transfer to Khwai Concession
Transfer to Khwai Concession
After breakfast, you'll take a leisurely game drive as you exit Moremi and journey toward the Khwai Concession, a community-run area bordering Moremi Game Reserve. Wildlife is abundant along the way, and this is an excellent opportunity to spot lions, wild dogs, or sable antelope.
You'll arrive at your Khwai campsite in the afternoon and settle in. You'll stay in Meru-style tents (larger than 3x3m) with real beds, private verandas, and en suite bush bathrooms (bucket shower, canvas sink, bush toilet). You'll enjoy a non-participation experience where everything is taken care of, from camp setup to hearty meals, so you can focus fully on the wildlife, the landscapes, and the rhythm of the bush without lifting a finger.
Later, you'll head out for a night drive - a highlight of Khwai, where nocturnal species like civets, genets, porcupines, and perhaps a leopard on the hunt may be seen.

You'll spend two full days in Khwai, immersing yourself in sustainable comfort with Meru-style tents (larger than 3x3m), featuring real beds, private verandas, and en suite bush bathrooms — complete with a bucket shower, canvas sink, and bush toilet. Relish chef-prepared meals under the stars and explore Khwai's floodplains, mopane woodlands, and winding river channels.
Activities include:
• Expertly guided day game drives to spot elephants, hippos, buffalo, wild dogs, and more.
• Night drives for nocturnal predators and smaller species.
• Optional mokoro excursion gliding silently through lily-covered waterways, guided by a local poler.
• Guided bush walks for a more intimate connection with the landscape.
• Evenings are spent around the campfire, sharing safari stories beneath the starlit African sky.

Return to Maun
Return to Maun
You'll enjoy a leisurely breakfast in camp before packing up. Your guide will transfer you back to Maun, where the safari ends by late morning. This is the perfect opportunity to connect with onward flights or extend your Botswana adventure.
